Hey man, how do you quickly switch targets with the mavericks? When I try to launch mavericks on 2 people the targeting pod seems to lock onto the first person for a good few seconds.
Seeing this with a lightweight fighter ground pounding I can’t wait for the F-15E a heavy fighter with a lot of hard point and possibly having the conformal tanks added too.
Remember how devastating the MiG-27 was. Multiply that by 10. Give it the best IR missiels for GRB(because no smoke) and amazing flight performance. It’s easily the best cas in the game.

Tbf it takes at least 2 kills to spawn these CAS monsters, and you can only ever spawn them once a game. Not too easy when you're dealing with non-spalling Russian tanks and momentum on the ground while Pantsirs can spawn twice per player without any kills. I;'ve seen speculation before that Russians own the ground while US owns the air. I'd take that trade I guess.

First, you have to get at least 2 kills to spawn a fully loaded F-16. You have to deal with non-spalling Russian tanks with the best frontal armor who seem to always be more agile than you. You have to aim for weak spots while they look at you anywhere and you die. Then you need those Mavs in order to deal with SPAA long range, laser guided bombs can be risky at closer ranges with SPAA. You get 2 almost guaranteed kills with the bombs (if you don’t aim directly at the tanks, since they sometimes flat out absorb them), 6 mavs are unreliable against tanks, maybe 3 MBT kills if you’re very lucky, you allocate them against SPAA to guarantee a kill, which means you aren’t helping much against the 5 viable Russian MBTs they can spawn in, the Kamovs, the MIGs, and you can’t cap points. On top of that, Pantsirs (often comes in packs of 1 or 2) are still a threat, they’re often very protected if your team doesn’t push the spawn, then there’s TY-90s (which seem to be almost always paired with Russia) other planes who can pretty much do the same, only worse at dogfights, and snow maps when you can’t see missile trails. On top of that there are plenty of bad pilots at GRB who throw away all their spawn points for a plane, fly straight thinking they’re invincible, die, then leave after, unable to spawn another vehicle. Wiping half the enemy team would be an exception rather than a norm. I’ve seen more times a single tank wipe out half the team than a plane. There’s a reason why the win rates haven’t changed much even with these things around. I’m not saying there are unfair things in the game, god knows there are plenty but I think this one is justified given the current state of top tier games. If they refuse to give the MBTs the performance and armor values they actually have, then these things are justified to supplement the nation’s capabilities. At least for now.

Yes, there is the occasional bs with russian tanks but even though its more common with them its not completly unique. Additionally i think you undervalue the m1´s. They´re not the best, sure, but they can hold their own. Sure once you spawn your plane you ll have to deal with spaa and the occasional ty90 heli camping the air spawn but as long as youre quick you ll likely only face that once you or another plane/heli started griefing the enemy team. At that point if youre spawned in already just sit on top of their spawn in stratosphere and repeat the exact approach shown in these clips. you re invisible on radar because it doesnt pick you up straight upwards and more often than not you wont get spotted fast enough and you get free kills on spaas. When it comes to bad piloting its not an argument that should hold any weight in balance. Also the winrates have changed. Yes, the US has not skyrocketed to 60+% but it has picked up by about 5% and considering only a fraction of the population unlocked the f16c at this point this is already significant. Did the US need some love at top tier? Probably, but more oppressive CAS in an environment in which spaa is dreadful already is not the best option in my eyes. For how much potential these things have they re still too cheap and/or air to air loadouts too expensive.
