Love the QPLFO and pairs great with their SISM. Nice video. I thought I had done a time lapse of this build myself, but it was the PEG kit. Really enjoy building their kits - well-organized with good instructions.
Your common-sense DIY tips are helpful. Great videography and background music! Very colorful and cinematic, especially with the wacky noisy generative fun at the end.
I did the same, but instead of drilling the panel, I have a nearby spare panel populated with hacky stuff like his or my own “expander” switches for the 4MS SCM.
Hi Benjamin! Start with easy kits where you only need to solder the hardware (pots jacks etc) Look in the playlist section of my channel, there is one called "easy beginner kits" :) Get a decent soldering Iron with temperature control, leaded solder, tweezers and wire cutters, magnifier, desoldering braid and pump, a few small screwdrivers and go to town!
Hi Benjamin! I got started slowly by first watching the many DIY video kit-builds by Molten Music Technology (Robin Vincent). His videos show him actually building the kits and sometimes making little mistakes - but then you know in advance and do not have to repeat the same error. Check it out, You-Tube videos are free, just takes a little time for viewing! "Go make some noise"
So fun. Nice demo.🦑

Agreed!
I had a blast building this! It's one of my favorite modules.

Thanks Patrick :)
Nice job. I don’t use Eurorack but watch plenty, and 4ms panels are consistently great sounding and seemingly useful. Tons of fun sounds, here!
Did I miss it or did you mention a special cable for clock. Can you describe it?
It's just a ribbon cable going from the QCD to the QPLFO from the back of the modules
Nice build ! Do you have some Tipps for a SMD Beginner Module? I have a hot air and normal solder iron. Greetings
Hugh, I started with Ornament and Crime! Not too difficult and super useful :)

hi i need good furniture any recommendations?
you didnt even use the ping inputs this whole video
I dont’t like the idea of setting a jumper and have ine choice of polarity so I drilled this beautifull panel and added a polarity switch.
Hey good idea!

I really want to get into building modules but don't really know where to start, have you got any tips?
