i was going to try it too in my 150gal but i have lots of sand and thats what worried me was killing the sandbed os youd never get all the copper out of the sand and it would kill all my nassoriuos snails and starfish other snails ,crabs ect
You definitely have to remove them before dosing. You can get it out but will take you some time. You will need CupriSorb and lots of water changes. Get the Hanna check that checks for copper. The checker will say you have 1.0ppm now due to the fluctuations the checker has
