He is also an army general and he has made up his mind to fight along side with his adopted father to the end. His true love for Xiao Yao is real. He wants to protect her and provide everything she is longing for: a place to call home, be able to protect herself and be with the one who love her only. Xiang Liu supports her to be a princess, teach her archery and gets Tushan Jing to be with her. He couldn’t drag her down with him. It is a sacrifice for true love. I wish he would take a chance and let Xiao Yao know his feelings, then she could reveal her feelings and they could decide what/how to deal with it together. Thank you for your beautiful video.

Мені оце тільки зараз прийшло на думку, що її весільне вбрання на весіллі з Цзіном якесь приторне, замість того щоб бути розкішним, і робить її старою і приземлено. Вона виглядала значно краще у тих весільних шатах і вінку, які одягнула для Сян Лю, коли чекала його на березі океану.

He took her to the casino, fairs and on walks, etc. He spent 10 years teaching her archery. 37 years healing her. And many years as her confidant and friend. None of the other three dated her/chased her. Jing would sneak around to see her but his “home life” came first. Xiao also suffered a lot due to Jings “family” hurting her. . Cang wanted to be king at her expense. Fenglong seemed to care less about women in general. Xiang Liu didn’t tell her how he really felt, perhaps because he was insecure or didn’t know how to say it but he showed her he cared. The other men in her life were wealthy but did not do as much for her as Xiang lu did. And it seemed Xiao wanted to hear empty promises rather than look at reality. It seemed like she waited for Jing for about 100 years, not 15 and most of those years she was tortured because of Jings thoughtlessness. If she didn’t have Xiang lu in her life maybe she would have noticed how much Jing cheated her. When she ends up with Jing she will realize how shallow the relationship is and she will truly miss Xiang lu.
Great script. Great actors, filming, editing, costumes, music, etc. This is the best Cdrama I have watched. It draws the audience in and captures so many human emotions, flaws, selfishness, selflessness, corruption, etc.

Так, я спочатку зробила тільки шортс під цю пісню. Та якось мені спало на думку, що текст чудово підходить до сцени, де Сян Лю краде наречену і з цього можна зробити непоганий хепіенд, якщо мені вдасться адекватно склеїти декілька кадрів в одну сцену. В сцені, де Цзін простягає до Сяо Яо руки, а вона прибирає свої на фоні мав ще бути Сян Лю. На жаль, монтаж не вдався, але я все одно задоволена результатом.

It was somehow always this way - I wrote tragic poems, was good at writing complicated psychological deep dives into people's feelings during the tragic events etc. And I feel more comfortable editing sad videos somehow.
