- In my opinion the best laser image preparation software out there. Process your image for any type of substrate from wood, acrylic, slate, cork, leather, glass just to name a few. With the new algorythms implemented the program is very easy to use.

Questions how about metal engraving
What settings do you use on a Beamo for the white tile? Great video, thank you so much!
I use the slate setting...if it works for you then you can save that setting and name it "tile"
Excellent video! Any videos or tips for using imagr for Engraving on black acrylic?
Anytime engraving acrylic you will always reverse the image and invert it. The software will do this automatically....also check out the latest i just did on enhancing the image first.
I recently got my xtool d1 10w and i been doing porttaits and yes i got the hang of it now..problem is my portraits are looking like a sepia picture...no shading differences light tones or dark..
I guess what im tryna say will using imagr allow me to get my portraits from that sepia burbt look to actual shades or different laser style..?..not sure if that made sense..😮💨😮💨😮💨
Awesome vid. :)
Which dither settings would you use, for engraving a picture on a white tile? :) Some say Jarvis, some Stucki etc :D
After it's saved can I open filr with NEJE software?
Just a heads up on the black paint on tile. the paint doesn't get baked in. It gets burnt away. Thats why the image is inverted by ImagR.
Absolutely correct and thank you...wrong choice of words...
I saw a vid on using a sharpie to color or paint the glass to etch on it. I had no glass so I used a white ceramic tile. The results were not what I was looking for, but turned out to be better. The tile was not etched, but it "appeared" that the sharpie ink melted into the pores of the tile. After cleaning it I was amazed at the results.
Great video, quick question, would this work in stainless steel? I sell jewelry and I engrave pictures on stainless steel dog tags. I haven’t been able to use my new laser to engrave pictures, I’m still using and old MPX-90 machine so I’m doing a research and this seems very helpful.
Yes
Would love to know where you got the image from? Absolutely love her
Google. Images. You can find it there
Do you have to mirror and convert the image before when using new acrylic in materials?
Depends if you are engraving the back of acrylic to view from the front
A question, I purchased my laser (ortur 20w) on gearsbest and its going to get here who knows when, but ive been doing A LOT of research....what would happen if lets say I physically have a wood piece under the laser and select the leather feature for the file? Im assuming that it wouldnt come out as clean as the preview because when you select the material it adjusts the power and speed for you? or am i wrong
It depends on what combination you're using but you either get a very burned image or one that is not there at all. Nothing bad will happen :) sometimes the leather settings could work better for your type of wood. Just watch the first few seconds of engraving and you will see if the settings work out and if so, then great. If not, change them
White tile painted black, you are not going to remove paint after engraving. Only do this when you paint white tile white then engrave.
I always remove the paint after. Black or white. Black is a negative, white is not. Done them both many times.
Is this for the beamo 30w?
so a few questions for you. my machine is a glowforge plus. i would like to laser engrave some photos. i purchased the imag-r software. the version is 1.0.2. what can you tell me that would make my photos come out well. im using medium draftboard at the moment. i have figured out to a certain degree the imag-r software but not totally sure how to use some of it. by that i mean the advanced tab on the bottom. when watching the video that you have posted above my software doesn't look like that. maybe i have an updated version? when i select the different material tabs the picture definitely doesn't come out looking better than the original. hoping to hear from you and by the way your video is thumbs up. i just wish my photos came out that good!!!
The pic may not come out looking like the original as it is being converted for lasering. If you are in the USA do not hesitate to call me at office after 9am est @ 888-239-2644
once you import the image into lightburn, do i have to make anyother changes besides speed and power? IE, do i need to double click the image layer and set dpi, and jarvis mode?
thanks for a great video
Did you ever find out the answer to this question? TY
@@darleenmiller8427 i use lightburn now for all the processing. I dont use imgr anymore. I can do it all easily in lightburn. If you right click the image and go to adjust image, you can do everything there
Hi..thank you very much for this awesome video.
I have doubt here, when i imported this image (after processing in imag-r) into Coreldraw, the image not look nicely and won't sharp as in imag-r...why?? I use Coreldraw X7 & co2 50w Chinese laser. please advise ...
thank
Once you process the image in the image r program you do not put it back into Corel . You take the image and you put it into your laser software
@@lazerking1701 I have an epilog. Corel is the laser software
What settings do you use to engrave on wood with laser co2? Thank you so much.
No you have to be a little bit more specific and indicate which laser you have that will help us help you a little bit better with the answer you were looking for
i have a 150 watt co2 laser
Does it work with the ORTUR Laser Master 2 32-bit Motherboard
Yes, why not....
What steps do I need when I already used Imag-R importing image to Coreldraw, Just send it directly to machine? Or need to apply Stucki/Jarvis also?
Once created send to your machine
@@lazerking1701 thank u!!!
10 sept 2021 and still waiting for the other vid where you show this image on wood ;)
Where did you say that you found this image?
Great video! I have a question: After I made one test engraving image, I tried to do another one, problem is my first image keeps popping up, even after I start again. I cannot open up the new image. Don't know what I am doing wrong?
Try clearing your cache
Hi fantastic info I'm most definitely gonna get that software. question where can I get a copy of the image I love it
You can find that image on google
Oh I see. do you know the name by any chance of the image.
Thanks
@@queenbvanity727 I'm sorry I do not as it was months ago.
did you pay for the version you are using ...when I go to the webpage it has ads all over it and looks nothing like that
Yes the paid version has no ads
Thanks super👍👍👍❤❤
Welcome 😊
If using on a white canvas painted black which would you choose?
I am not sure I understand your question
OMG thank you. Someone recommended this to me and I had no clue what I was doing! 🤣
You are very welcome....
Hi what type of laser do you use i have a XTool P2 and F1 will they be OK to to this
My files are ok with any laser....acesdeals.net/shop/ols/categories/flux-beamo-laser-png-files
Save and then paste to lightburn to engrave,??
Yes
Hi Very nice video, I appreciate that, but looks that is working more on their webpage, I can´t see more two images side by side..
Make sure there are no characters in the file name
@@lazerking1701 Thanks a lot, works nice, in fact I was using jpg extension, maybe this was the problem...
i can´t use the program .-.
why?
Hi! Where i can found the software. Thank's
www.imag-r.com
I work on a very old bodor laser. Would this software work? It uses LaserCut 5.3 software, which is OLD! Thank you. I don't want to buy this software if it doesn't work with the laser I'm working on.
This software is designed to work for any CO2 or diode laser. It does not matter what laser you have. You prepare the image for laser engraving using this software, and then you bring it to the software that your computer has to engrave.
I cant get pics to upload for anything on imagr. Help
Remove any dots or dashes or any symbols in the file
How about lasering over paint?
It can be done....
What options. Would work good with metal?
I have used Norton slate
@@lazerking1701 by Any chance do you have settings for a 50w?
@@EJSVARZ Try 55-60 power....80mms
Can this use for grainet engraving
Yes....
This may have solved a request I have.
if you place DPI 636 it works better
what is your website address?
And is that T bucket yours?
www.acesdeals.net
got link m8 carnt fined rite one
what is the cost...free?....trial limited free?.....
Theres a free version limited capabilities that allows you to work with it...I use the $9 a mo online version which gives me access to all the options.
I thought you mentioned this was free 300 euro for a proper license is a little high
There is the free version you can use online and then there’s the paid version with no ads and a couple of extra benefits. I do not sell this software I just tell people about it. This is not my software it was created by an individual in the United Kingdom
THAT SOFTWARE NOT WORK, CROP NOT WORK, RESIZE NOT WORK. I USED SAFARI AND CHROME AND NOTHING. COULD YOU FIX THAT ISSUE ? THANK YOU.
First of all it’s not my software I am teaching people how to use it. It’s an online software so if you’re having problems with it it’s most likely on your end because it’s an online software.
@@lazerking1701 , ok. Anyway thank you
I clicked this thinking it was going to talk about the software.
😅
When I go to the site they want $240
I know the creator of the software charges a monthly plan or a yearly plan. He does have an ad supported free version which I use all the time.
I like the old look of the website way better, no idea why they changed it, looks a mess now. Too dark, banner is too big, oversized menu annoyingly follows the page, buttons look less professional.
what kind of junk is this? I spent 10 minutes going through adds to install weather you like it or not before you get to down it. Ok, I got it installed, clicked on my launch icon and the a window pops up telling me I to buy a license. So click buy a license, only nothing happens at all. I click a few more times and then wait for 10 minutes and still nothing. How do I pay for junk?
