I think that the story needs to be more fun/adventurous. The brick bronze story was very engaging and captivating. The loomian legacy story is quite drawn out and not enough detail is put into it. The dialogue is so long and uninteresting, gyms are boring and none of the characters are interesting. I personally love Tessa and jake, the beautiful cliff and cave routes and the fun gym battles, and i think that it would be great for new players or people who want to replay the games story if lama train could work on this aspect of their game.
Brick bronze has to many amazing things over Loomian Legacy. Amazing map, pretty damn nice story, stupidly hard gyms (at least for me since i sucked lmao)
I get all of those but brick bronze had all the models of Pokémon and such so they could put more effort into the things you are talking about loomian legacy does not have such luxuries they have to make the Pokémon the story the models and everything and that’s a hard thing to do
not to mention it takes roughly a year for a region to come out, yeah it does take time to make a good story and all, but for something rather mid, a year's worth of wait isn't too great

Back in elementary school, I had a group of friends who loved pokemon, me playing roblox at the time I told them about pokemon brick bronze. My friends and I would play almost everyday, spending hours and hours battling eachother, trading our pokemon and having fun with others. (It got to the point where all of us would go to school drained because we stayed up very late lol) And about 2 years later when PBB got deleted I was absolutely devastated. PBB had a special place in my heart and its one of the best pokemon games I have ever played. Pokemon Brick Bronze 2015-2018 best 2 years of my life.

A big part that turned me away from Loomian was the use of Rthro avatars, maybe arguable by some, but Brick Bronze just felt like it belonged to Roblox more, something deeper at heart.

I am simply voicing my opinion of what I felt was a negative change, Loomian itself is a great game, but handled poorly in some senses. We literally do not have to believe in the same thing, and that is fine, no need to call someone ignorant, move on with your merry day.

I think one point that was missed was that the Developers blatantly lied to us for MONTHS. During the "after-covid" period and Sepharite was released, the devs were promising that they were working super hard but we hadn't seen any actual progress, communication or any leaks. The disappointment of the beach update was the final straw for the devs to break and admit that they indeed hadn't been working on the game and only started during March (Which was the original release date of Atlanthian city and they had to delay the update by a whole 2 months) But of course, 2 months wasnt anything compared to the year and a half we had to wait for actual new content.
y'know it's strange, the devs behind lumian legacy were also behind digimon aurity, in which they also said that they were working hard on a sequel game that has had no updates in 4+ years
Well, now we know that one reason they took so long is because tbradm has ADHD, and him being the only scripter doesn’t exactly help

I think the main thing that this game lacks over Brick Bronze is the exploration. In Brick Bronze you get HMs, I believe they were called, that would allow you to go to other optional areas earlier in the game. There were so many of these little areas and a lot of them contained very useful items. These HMs weren't even all obtained simply by progressing and completing gyms. Some of them you had to find. The game had so many secrets to find.
Also the battles were a lot deeper than in Loomian Legacy, with all of those mechanics mentioned in the video. In Loomian Legacy, you just have attacks and energy. That's it. It gets boring after a while.
Yeah the pokemon company developed battle mechanics over many years, loomian legacy had to start from square 1
this is one of the reasons why i think doodle world is pretty unique. contrary to pretty much every other pokemon style game, you can jump, and the game uses chests just in view to make you want to explore and try to get there
I wouldn't call it just attacks and energy, there's setup moves, entry hazards, and a lot of other status moves that play their respective roles in the game. There's also abilities which can be full on game changers depending on what yours has

Pokémon Brick Bronze absolutely devastated me when it just disappeared. I played daily it since Beta and the game helped me get through some tough times. I grew really attached to an Ash Geninja I paid robux for. I took a break for a while from the game due to several major tests I had at the time. When I decided to go back, it was just… gone. I discovered that Project Pokémon, another game like PBB also disappeared. Both games I sunk so many hours into vanished silently. When Loomian came out, I could never get into playing the game because of how similar yet different it was compared to PBB. I don’t play Roblox that much anymore, but I still don’t feel like going back.
That is what I feel. I remember once brick bronze was deleted everyone was using the files to create a copy in order to play, didn’t really work out too well

I remember spending so many hours on this game. It was my go to game whenever I had a bad day and felt nice to find shinies and egg hatch for a shiny. I was the top 100 also in pvp with pretty good IV shinies.(yes cringe I know)
I kinda gave up when the new game was created because I didn’t want to grind all of that progression into this new game and I’m pretty happy with the memories that PBB gave but nothing will replace it.

@@nhernandez925 Project Bronze Forever is the current copy of Brick Bronze that gets reuploaded every time Roblox deletes it (it saves your data externally across all the reuploaded games), so *a lot* of ppl _(over 400k ppl in the discord server)_ still play it lol
i think that the way they handled last years christmas event was handled really well. making a centralized hub world for a seasonal event is a good idea so that devs dont half to spend hours making a new map for each event, slowing down production. also, as a diehard casual player, i think there should be a more casual friendly way of getting CP rather than just rolling a wheel and praying.
I vividly remember my reaction when PBB was shut down, especially since a lot of people I knew also played the game.
And Pokémon Brick Bronze did have it’s fair share of problems, but Loomian Legacy’s problems are different and it’s good that people are addressing them, however, we are left to only wonder if they will actually do anything about it and how
I didn't even know that it shut down until months after it did, since I took a break from Roblox at the time and I didn't have any social media at the time, so when I went back to play PBB, I thought "hm that's weird it's not in my recently played games list," so I searched the game. I couldn't find it, and I thought I was going crazy since I was panicking lol

After Brick Bronze, I want more than anything for this game to succeed, but in order for that to happen, many issues need to be addressed. The question we’re left with is; What are the devs going to do about it?

it feels so weird that loomian legacy has been out there for longer than the time brick bronze lasted yet the second part of atlanthian likely won't come until the new year.. although i feel like loomian legacy now just sits there not doing much, i do have faith in LTS continuing to improve the game in the future, hopefully at a faster rate too! they remain a talented team and i'm sure if they addressed the issues they could have something even better in their hands (awesome video btw!!!)

i remember playing loomian legacy released, spending everyday trying to find a duskit, spending hours trying to get a luminami, and of course waiting years for updates, during all of the wait, i never stopped loving the game i always had hope for this game and grinding to be a good pvp player, i will never stop loving this game made by a group that just loves pokemon as much as i do and i will never stop waiting.
The impact that PBB and Loomian Legacy have made on Pokemon is insane. Ballonlea in Pokemon Sword and Shield (released over a year after PBB was banned) seems very much like it was inspired from the city with the 6th badge in PBB (i dont remember the name) and as you mentioned now that i think about it the pokedex in Pokemon Legends Arceus seems similar to the Loomian mastery or whatever its called idk i spent like 10 minutes on this comment or smth. Anyways great video!

Sad to see such a great opportunity of a game fall due to a lack of updates and the corona pandemic. I do wish the game gets more popularity as the developers put a lot of work into it. All the negativity aside, great video. Hope to see you gain more popularity, you deserve it!
The fact I still have vivid memories of playing Brick Bronze, grinding, and loving it is crazy, and shows how impactful the game as a whole was, and I only played it for 3/4 months too. I was 12 when PBB was taken down and I'm turning 18 in like 5 months. I only played LL for a month or 2, came back for a couple days with each update, but that's about it. I can respect the game itself because it IS a good game. But it will never even come close to all the feel and enjoyment of PBB. Also that and the fact that I was sort of growing out of roblox by the game LL came out (as minecraft was getting popular again). The thing that baffles me is why PBB got taken down in the first place. PBB was using their creations but it was all out of passion and there was no malicious intents, and without a doubt PBB was getting more people into pokemon (including me) then dragging people away from the main games into a free alternative. So overall, PBB had a massive impact on my childhood/life despite only being able to play it for a couple months, as it had a massive ripple effect on things I do/enjoy now.

Brick Bronze had a randomizer nuzlocke and regular nuzlocke mode available very shortly before it's death and I'm willing to bet that's the "replayability" mechanic being looked into
Brick Bronze was the first game i ever played on roblox, in January of 2017 my friend introduced me to it shortly after i made a roblox account. My friend and I would spend hours on end playing. I was so sad to see it shut down, that game brings so much nostalgia. I can understand how it feels different in Loomian Legacy, there’s just something missing. As much as I love Loomian legacy, i’ve been drifting away from it. In fact, the last time i played was with the reworked rainbow vari event earlier this year. I hope that the game gets more updates in the future!

Being a player exactly when the game was shut down hit different…I remember vividly playing project Pokémon & being teleported to the “sorry this experience is incomplete” house, trying to see if project pokemon was still up and sure enough…it was gone. I go to scurry to my brick bronze file through the home…no brick bronze. I felt heartbroken. I grown up to age 19 now knowing I will never have the last aura mew(the Halloween mew)
the biggest problem for me is that i keep forgetting what’s going on in the storyline because the game doesn’t update that much
One of my favorite memories was when I was in 2nd grade and I had just seen that you could get that one garbage Pokémon. I asked my dad if I could go on my iPad, and I caught it, I was so happy! I miss those days when I would figure something out or what about something on RUclips and I’d go do it either with one of my friends or just alone. I loved it. So, so much. When I heard it had shut down, I genuinely teared up and I think I actually cried.
I appreciate this, I love this game too much to let it die, theres definitley some reworks needed so that it won't end up like that, and even though I tend to not play the game as much as I used to, I still do not want to see it die. Brick Bronze holds a special place in my heart, because it was the first game I played on roblox, with my brother (such good times), but if the game gets not as much players, development will stop, making even more players leave, eventually leading to the death of it. My favorite part about brick bronze is the fact that all the legendarys were hidden and obtainable in really wacky and fun places. In loomian legacy the most interesting legendary is the underwter one on route 8
Having more people and communicating with the community would do wonders. I’d love to see more polls, more reaching out about how development is going, and definitely WAY more people and allowing more models in the game. Lots of designs could add more interesting loomians and having more designers also wouldn’t help, as the main issue rn is just the fact that in LL were promised things that we don’t have any precursor to and end up getting an unfinished thing

Well. Coming back to this video. I’m honestly more than glad that we’re pretty much out of the 'dark ages'. Atlanthian Part 2 was a blast and the weather stuff alongside the qol stuff is a godsend.
Couldn't disagree more. It's taking even longer than ever for updates to release INCLUDING EVENTS and instead of modeling loomunity park, they could've just made the next route.
LTS is clearly just greedy for people's money since they keep adding the most impossible to find loomians. And the new duskit plush only serves to prove my point.

They’ve added permanent additions. Not exactly new routes but fresh new loomians to heiwa village, the thunderstorm weather, and the boatload of stuff in UMV (which was something people were asking for, for the longest while now. So many damn batteries people were hoarding). From last February onward they dropped things on a monthly-ish basis (trust me I checked). And the only events we had in that period were Easter (which was three months ago) and now loomunity.
They’ve been prioritizing pvp 2.0. Recent changes like being able to freely switch out learned moves and freely assigning tp points have been solid.
And regarding the plushes I’m just shrugging at it. Doodle World and Tales of Tanorio have their own Makeship Plushes so I don’t see why LL wouldn’t make one (especially now)
It isn’t perfect but as it is right now I’m not complaining.

Bro, this is an absolute gem of a video, you nailed it. Everything was spot on. Make more videos this this and you’ll become famous in no time.
This is a really good video! I would like to add a bit more on a huge problem I believe PvP has though, which is the absurd amount of grinding you have to do just to do it.
Mastery plays very heavy involvement in helping prepare your Loomians for PvP, as it's where you can unlock training gummies, boost tokens, shards, and of course Rally items. However some items take an absurd amount of time to unlock, with the rally item Jewlfruit requiring you to get all the way up to level 78, which can take a huge amount of time to grind for, especially for someone who may not have any gamepasses. It doesn't help that a lot of masteries are essentially the same thing; Earning EXP with a specific Loomian, knocking out a specific number of Loomians, knocking out a specific number of Loomians with a super effective attack, etc. Are all practically the same mastery and aren't fun to do since chances are you'll just be using a rebattleable trainer or Loomians on one of the first route to complete the mastery. The only few I can think of that aren't knocking out Loomians are the rally ones, which is just going AFK or capturing, which can sometimes be unfair for players who miss an event (Nymaurae's mastery comes to mind).
Even once you get past the problem with mastery though, you still have to go AFK in Rally Ranch until you get a Loomian that you need, which is almost always a secret ability, which is a 1/256 chance, but it can be boosted to 1/128 with the ability charm. Even once you get that 1/256 or 1/128 boosted odds though, you still have to grind until it's ready to evolve, gets all the PvP moves it needs, and is fully TP trained. You then have to do this 6 more times for a full team, and even more AFTER that if you want to fight with more than just the 7 basic Loomians that you have. Alternatively, you might also have to hunt for a roaming Loomian, which is a 1/1024 chance, or 1/512 with the roaming charm. Sometimes though these odds can be heavily increased if you're going for a secret ability Loomian. To make things worse though, there's no way to change abilities so even if you do get the secret ability roamer you were hunting, it can be really irritating to have to work with a Loomian that has a very bad personality.
The easiest way to fix this amount of grinding would be to have a PvP Team Builder, like Pokémon Showdown. This would allow for new players to not get overwhelmed, it'd encourage people to experiment with new Loomians and teambuilds, and when a new update comes around you won't have to spend hours changing your TPs for a specific Loomian. Yes, it'd probably suck for those who've already spent awhile grinding for mastery, but I believe that can be fixed through having a separate game mode which lets you use the Loomians you got in adventure, maybe even allowing you to earn more colosseum points for doing so.

i remember brick bronze! i played it for about a month straight, would watch thinknoodle’s streams, and draw the little squirtle character a ton. sadly i fell off the hype train about after a month of obsession, and only played it a few times after that. it’s really sad it got shut down. it was a really amazing game. thank you brick bronze for making my childhood a bit better
Wow, this is actually a really well made video! I myself was a very big fan on Brick Bronze back at that time, and I got very upset when I was playing the game and then it just... crashed. Although I'm not a big fan on Loomian Legacy, I hope to see it grow and maybe even be able to have the same feeling as Brick Bronze did in the past.
I haven't touched Loomian Legacy for maybe a year or two but I remember being excited for the game big time when it was first announced and I played it quite a bit. I think it was the grind for a lot of things being too hard that pushed me away though along with the updates eventually slowing down. Great video and I hope it gets spread around some more!
The grind gets absurd after battle theater 2. The trainer levels jump waaay too high.

Seeing the badges again had me in tears I spent hours in that game and when it got shut down I was heart broken. I still play loomian legacy Daily and as good as it is it will never replace pokemon brick bronze nothing will
one thing i wanna mention about “communication”, i have talked to one of the developers.. Basically what yolo said, they don’t know what anyone means with communication. someone should make an in depth video about how the dev team can improve from what it already is
Some note i would like to drop as well. They consider behind the scenes talk as spoilers. Very early on a former RUclipsr i won't name due to permission not granted, had an argument with the devs about lack of communication, all he asked was the devs to do progress reports practically granted, it wasn't worded perfectly but the point was there but the devs thought he meant straight up, spoilers. Which, no, he meant progress reports. And it's so dumb they consider behind the scenes as spoilers.
Ah that's interesting. I've never heard of that before. Personally I don't want spoilers, but knowing just what they're working on would be nice. Currently for example, we don't even know whether they're working on the Halloween event or atlanthian part 2 or both.
Great Video! It's good to see that some people have the same passion for Loomian Legacy I do. This game has given me great memories of me just making cakes in sweet retreat, or doing the maze everyday. I hope it can perform well, and I hope the game becomes more positive

I had over 500-600 in the Pokédex, and I was the only one of my friends that actually played the game, so that’s all I did. I loved doing it, and I probably had over 50 hours on the game. I didn’t care, I just loved training in that cave after the 6th gym. Then it got deleted and I was heartbroken until LL came out.
It felt awesome to see my childhood game come back in a different form, and I was addicted to the game until I ran out of things to do. I barely touch the game anymore because of how repetitive it is, with the only things you can do being mastery and hunting. The events don’t even make it better, they just add 1-3 new loomians, including the annual reskin, and they kinda put the nail in the coffin for now.
I’ve been keeping my eye on the game, waiting for the updates, but they take so long I kinda lose interest. It hurts me to believe that my favorite game as a kid has turned into a slugged-out project that will most likely be complete after my time on the platform.

They should reintroduce the legendaries you could find by doing puzzles and other quests like pokemon brick bronze. It was a ton of fun trying to find them so I hope they do it again
That's a good idea. Like the Jirachi from Brick Bronze. So far we've only had Mutagon and Elephage that were like that so a few more would be cool to see.

technically ikazune is one bc you have to complete a puzzle to find the corrupt loomian in order to unlock it

@@hajwala2fan I don't really remember how that part of the game goes so you're probably right but I was talking more about Loomians you can miss. Like Jirachi in Brick Bronze, you had to go through a hidden path in the wall to find it and also you can soft reset for it. For Ikazune it's an unavoidable battle for the story progress and they don't let you catch it, let along soft reset for a gleaming.

I don't play Loomian Legacy, but I know that my younger sister has done, and both of us played an immense share of PBB before it got shutdown. I really do want to see a bright future for this project, and not having a tragically ridiculous end via Nintendo (A.K.A The Fan-Game Killer). As for the Dev's connectivity with players, I don't use social media, and even then I don't really have any impatience when it comes to game updates. If you look at games like NMS (No Man's Sky), that game was able to reach a great popularity because it's own Devs chose not to interact with the audience whatsoever. To be very clear: Let the Devs have plenty of patience and space when it comes to this kind of thing. A demand for occasional progress updates could usually make development a bit more stressful. And besides, it isn't the first time that the Devs have been stuck updating a singular city before, they did it with the Port City just before the 8th Gym in PBB. Just give it a bit of patience.

pbb was honestly one of my favourite games back in 2016, a legendary game that had a super engaging story (i couldnt get past the 7th gym because dumb kid me didnt know type matchups and how to actually fight, i just had a lvl 100 charizard with only fire moves and fly, it was basically a starter solo run), very good mechanics, and overall was just amazing, the day i got back from school i couldnt find it, i searched on youtube and yup, no more pbb 😭pbb will always have a special place in my heart
The reason for the devs not hiring new people is because the last time they hired someone, they leaked game code and that’s why we Pokémon brick bronze copies that come every few times on the front page. It made tbram and Lando very scared to hire new people, so they stay in a bubble.

Brick bronze will forever have a special place in my heart. So many memories of that game. I never got invested in loomian legacy, and got bored of it very quickly. But with brick bronze, I played it all the time. Every day. PBB will always be superior to loomian legacy
My little brother, big brother and cousins play Pokémon brick bronze and got really sad because they had gotten really far into the game and also had the best updates for the holidays and was not just fun earning Pokémon but that the fact was it wasn't fully pay to win like roulette and had a chance and getting a mythical and legendary and made the game as most balanced as possible .

Honestly, I'd love if one of the expansions (versions?) after Veils of Shadow is basically just a copypasta of Brick Bronze, but with loomians. It probably wouldn't take too long - they have the script and probably the map as well, they would mainly need to remodel stuff and make new loomians and whatnot

Great video! I was really sad when pokemon brick bronze was shutdown. Sad memories, but what came from that hard time was loomian legeacy.
While I enjoy the game, I think you hit the nail right on the head with the points, especially the PvP. It kind of sucks trying to get points to buy items only to just get curb stomped by a player with an overpowered team specifically designed to sweep. I wish they had a mechanic allowing you to battle players on a similar level to you so those new to PvP wouldn’t get immediately discouraged like I did. I pretty much avoid the colosseum completely now.
I do really hope the devs see this video and implement some changes, though.
I am going to play loomian legacy once I feel there is enough content for a nuzlocke but in the mean time you are doing great llama train studio so keep up the good work as we believe in you

I still remember that event my, level 75 charizard and me were going to beat the game and I was demolishing everyone but when I reached the final dude in the ground type gym I just took a break and in the middle of the break the game was shut down. I was heartbroken but what broken me even more is that the game was banned from my country and four year later I still remember THAT event.
I can see where you are coming from but I personally Love the story and I think that think something happened or there weren't many developers or the creators burning out or a combination of my theories. I hope the next update comes soon. And hey, as you quoted Miyamoto, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."

Pokemon Brick Bronze was the first Pokemon game I ever played, I thank the develepors for making a game with many fond memories:)
personally, i think that the original rainbow vari event had a good concept, but it was badly executed, like how you had to find a specific loomian with specific ability, stats etc. it is an actually interesting idea, and i want it to be explored more like a side quest later down the line, but the fact it was global, which we all know happened, made it not so fun, it would have been much better if it was personalized like every person has a diffrent quest
Man I really miss Pokémon brick bronze, I haven’t played loomian in a while either. I remember when loomian came out me and my friends actually grinded on route 3 all our loomians to lv40 from that one rich trainer. Good memories.

I know that it is "meant to" but the devs have said things like that in the past. I mentioned that in my communication section, it's not really clear exactly when its gonna come out.

My favourite event from Loomian Legacy was the 2020 Halloween event. I think there should be more events like it.

Pbb has brought me back memories, its the game that made me into the pokemon fandom. When i was 5th grade, i would ocasionally play the game in my mom's phone lol. Until one day, after i ate lunch, the game just... dissapeared.
But in all honesty, from all of the memories, i do understand why the pokemon company shut it down.
I was used to be a big pvper in loomian legacy. I had loads of fun popping in and fighting random player and friends. That was until Roblox banned my account. Because that was really the only thing I went to loomian legacy for (hunting was boring, and I never got trading) I never really felt like going back in and grinding for hours to get only a few of them back (plus I spent robux to get most of things I got)
Side note, I think pvp is a little less competitive than how you described. I never really ran into anyone with a super sweaty team, and I could usually just make a team on the spot and win games. Good video none the less 👍

Even though I'm late to this video, I can agree that the event reskin are great, shawchi and duskit being my favorite, but the chances of trying to find it takes way too long, I just wish it was like the rainbow vari event and we get to choose with color we want or what reskinned loomian we wanted
I miss brick bronze so much. I remember being so devastated about the game just not being up anymore. Since then ive never bought any of the new pokemon titles as i refuse to support the company that felt the need to erase a core part of my childhood.

the fact that the game ended before you got to the elite four just really upsets me, we were so close to the end of our journey and it just stops..
The main issue with the game imo, has to do with my biggest issue with roblox in general: roblox inherently supports rapid updates no matter how meaningless they are, especially now. The problem with that is games like this are not designed around being a live service, and forcing them into such a role is damaging to the game. Sure, brick bronze had symptoms of this issue too, like the dozens of 1 in 1000 legendaries or daily gimmicks if available at all. But making so much content event exclusive or exceedingly rare and adding nothing mechanics designed to make you grind is just excessive and makes the game feel unwelcoming.
Loomian legacy is in a situation where it either loses it's goodwill by continuing to spoonfeed, or loses to roblox by slowing for content that's major and permanent. The thing is though, they're losing both at this rate.

Losing Brick Bronze was like losing a family member. I had poured thousands of hours into that game, the happiest years of my life were in that game, and then Nintendo just took it all away, the best Pokemon game of all time.
