  • I've always used these settings, but never really thought about or realized how much they help GPU temperature and usage. Use this setting in all games to help get the smoothest gameplay and reduce video card temperatures!

      Thanks for your comment and concern :)
      One of the reasons I have kind of been not posting as much is due to my wife's condition and all the help she has needed. She is great now, but still going through some treatments.
      So, back in late 2018 she was diagnosed with cancer. We shared a lot of that story here on YT. She was in remission for a couple years. Well, in 2022 she was re-diagnosed. She went through months of chemo again, and then a double mastectomy, and then reconstructive surgery using belly fat. She's doing amazing and the reconstruction went great (23 hour surgery!)! She'll still have one last surgery in a couple months to "align and shape and make perfect". She never stops moving, never stops working, never stops wanting to do things. She's really amazing.
      She is in remission again now, just finishing up the last steps and healing. And now hopefully that those were cut off, the cancer will never come back again.

    3060ti? lamesauce. rx 6800 would SMOKE the 3060ti, EASILY, and costs less.... im running a rx 6950xt Red Devil. ever run a game maxxed out in 8k? lol

      @earthling1984  Год назад +1

      I have a 1080x60 monitor and 550w power supply. 6800xt requires 750w. 6800xt also costs $100+ more. For my needs (1080x60) I can max out every game I've thrown at it, and get my 60fps capped rate. And I'm only running around 68C in games.

      And hey, I gamed on an 860m for 7 years lol, then a 1650 for a couple years. Always had smooth play (but not max graphics). And I'm always basically the best player in FPS games. Now I get all the eye candy too :)

      @@earthling1984 8gb vram isnt enough for new titles. it just isnt. 12gb is minimum now. i run a 1080p @60hz and i also run a 1440 @90hz. dude, its an entirely different world when you go to 90fps+.
      500w psu? you need an upgrade, man. seriously.
      if you want a comparison between the NEW 16gb 4060ti and the old rx 6800xt, here is that ruclips.net/video/5KZ-jY_OqUA/видео.html
      8gb just isnt cutting the ham any more. the 3060ti was a joke when it was released and its even more of a joke now. the 4060ti is a pariah of the gpu world rn too, so, yeah... you could have gotten a FAR better deal... shouldve reached out to me man. seriously.

      @@millermonsterair I've watched tons of comparison videos. The 4060ti is very marginally better than 3060ti. Many games just 1 or 2 fps. Some games up to 20fps. It also is $100 more. It requires a 650w power supply (my 3060ti is asking for 600w, and although my system has a 550w, I know PC building and parts and it works great in my system). But, a 4060ti would be pushing it.
      The reason I got the EVGA SuperNOVA 550W PSU was because I got it brand new on Amazon for $50. It was on sale when I was building this PC. Right now it is $150+. So yes, I agree, more PSU is always better for future proofing. But, I couldn't pass up a $50 deal at the time. I knew my power requirements were low.
      I don't game all that much. And the games I do play aren't super demanding. I've never had any issues with 8GB VRam, never maxed it out. For me, this system should last many years. And of course, I could always upgrade in the future.

      The 4000 series has been kind of looked at as a joke by most people. It is pretty bad overall. Most stick with 3000 series. For instance, the 4060ti has 128 bit memory, my 3060ti has 256 bit.
