Great video as always. To the Chuunin Exams vs Konoha Crush Arc discussion, a lot of us from back in the day just consider those 2 arcs to be one big arc. I got into Naruto in 2002 so to us when we say the Chuunin Exams Arc we're talking about both arcs as one. I'm not sure when it happened exactly (I think closer to when Naruto started being dubbed) but slowly the arcs started to be divided up as Naruto got more popular. Either way it's all good as both arcs are amazing. I'm really looking forward to how you view the rest of the series especially considering it's gripping you this much. It's always dope seeing more people get into the series and also other manga/anime too. Now you just need to get Merphy into it so yall can gush about it like yall do OP!
You should watch the anime. Orochimaru was a terrifying villain from the music, voice acting, etc. He was very close to becoming a true horror villain.

😂😂 - I didn’t think that anything could top the One Piece backstories- but I have never felt as destroyed as I did seeing little Gaara experience so much pain. (Spoiler Alert) It really took the cake for me when the one person he thought he could trust, tried to kill him. 😭😭 I have never seen something so heartbreaking and disturbing as that 😭.
I love Naruto so much it is definitely one of my favorites this beginning half is when Kishimoto is at his best IMO sadly I can't say the same for Naruto Shippuden but I'm glad your enjoying the series so much
Hey Amber how it been. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Gaara backstory is very sad. It really shows how messed up the Sand Village really is. And you fully understand Gaara mindset as to why he's the way he's. And understanding that Gaara and Naruto experience with their homeland are very sim. Except Naruto gotten save by Iruka but Gaara had nothing.The 3rd Hokage Vs Orochimaru fight was some of the best stuff as not you only you see it fight. You get some backstory as to explain how letting Orochimaru leaving was a huge mistake. Naruto vs Gaara fight was some of the best fights in anime/manga history. It really shows the stakes and what Naruto has to do to win the fight as it no longer Naruto needing to defeat Gaara. He has to defeat Gaara to save Sakura from Gaara sand. Seeing Gaara change after his defeat of Naruto and Naruto words hitting him was an amazing moment. If you ever want to see this portion of this chapter in tge anime it episode 67 to 80. His speech about not being able to feel pain, but realizing that he has always felt pain in his heart was one of the most tragic, poetic pieces of literature that I have ever read 😭😭😭. He was so little, and precious, and sad! 😭 I would be interested in seeing which backstory you think rivals my little Gaara’s! 😂
@@AmberAlise well that's definitely sad. But is it Chopper hiiting himself in the head to stay with the doctor sad? Is it Robin I Want To Live sad? Derishishsishi sad? Laboon waiting for 50 years and bashing his head against the wall while Brook insists on surviving solely to reunite with him after all his loved ones died around him and he had to "live" in the darkness for 50 years by himself sad? Señor Pink sad or Baby 5 sad? ODEN SAD?! That whole village being robbed of any emotion other than laughter sad. Kuma, Amber. Kuma. I'm just sayin. Naruto didn't do it for me. I never felt emotionally invested like I did with One Piece. So I think they all beat him.

I think that’s what breaks my heart more than anything. For his entire life thus far, even as a little child, he has never have anyone love him, he was told that no one loved him, and the one person who he thought he could trust, tried to kill him. I can’t even think about his story without wanting to cry, 😭😂. I will say, you did remind me about about Baby 5 and, well, that was pretty freaking horrible (amongst the other tragic stories that you mentioned! Especially Robin!)
I think the reason that Gaara still takes the cake for me, is because he never had anyone that loved him. Kuma’s backstory is devastating, but I love how much he was loved, even though that love was constantly and tragically taken away from him. Gaara never had anyone show him love. The minute he tried to open up to someone, he was betrayed and told they he wasn’t loved. It just, broke me 😭.
