Glad that you enjoyed my walking tour! I also used to go to Kowloon City every day, so for me the video recalls my memories, and keeps a record of the neighbourhood before everything is completely changed.

Sadly, the Walled City had been completely demolished in the 90s. The park featured in my tour is the former site of the Walled City. However, I highly recommend the nearby Kowloon City area, which makes up the main part of my walking tour. It's a very interesting district where you can discover old Hong Kong and see different cultures mix. Enjoy your trip in HK!

@@VirtualToursTVthis isn't 100% accurate. Yes, the tall structures are demolished, but the original white colored Yamen buildings/Alms House still remain as well as the cannons and other parts of the original fort (which were shown in this video). The tall illegal structures were demolished and a garden/park is built in place of those structures. But the actual fort and the gates and everything that was in the very center is still in their original spot. The reason those were able to remain is because when they were building the Walled City years ago, the community leaders agreed NOT to build directly on top of those structures and to preserve them as they were. You were only permitted to build directly from the ground and upward AROUND them, but not on top of those original structures. Had they allowed people to build directly on top of them, they too, would have been destroyed in the demolition.

Yes, indeed the Alms House, the foundations of some demolished buildings and the remnants of the South Gate still exist, but the original question is asking whether those densely populated residential blocks are still there, so the answer is no. Thanks for your detailed explanation anyways!
