Summerville is still very pretty, but a small town, hence overcrowded. You won’t be able to enjoy all the above mentioned parks, activities and touristy spots due to the congested traffic. AND is getting very expensive at the rate it’s growing. Ppl are moving north of SC closer to Charlotte. Rockhill and Fortmill are gorgeous and deliver that small community vibe 😊
Affordable??? Even with a high paying job at Bosch, can’t afford a decent home anywhere in Summerville, much less the greater Charleston area, unless you’re willing to live in a sketchy rundown area.
The parks are very small and there are not many. Whole area is way behind in expanding roads to keep up with the exploding population. Imagine everything migrating towards Summerville with hardly any road improvements. Major lack of turning lanes is a head scratcher. I'm lucky I bought a home in Ladson 2 years ago after previously renting an apartment in Summerville because home prices have exploded.
Hi Bill, this was very informative! We are looking into SC Summerville and Bluffton area. We are looking to move from Oregon next summer 2024. Keep the videos coming!
I have lived in Summerville, SC my entire life. WE ARE FULL!!!!! Stop trying to get people to move here! You are pushing natives out! It is overcrowded and the roads are ridiculous! The traffic is insane because of people moving here. It is not a cute town anymore. Don’t let these people fool you!
That means the town should expand, not keep ppl out. More ppl means more growth which means more businesses, jobs, and opportunities will come. Things chg, it can't stay the same forever. Chg is good
I went to high school there in the 90’s and I was shocked and horrified when I went back. Couldn’t believe how terribly congested it was, busy, and terrible. Definitely not as beautiful as it used to be. Used to enjoy the Azalea festival. 😭
@@TheBillOlson dangg Must be a hot ticket place! Me and my wife were pondering on moving in the area somewhere outside of there possibly in the next Few years. Came from H town. We live in North Carolina now In a semi what I call nowhere town. People are friendly but don't really accept you and The community unless you're from the area=/. Hopefully it's not like that there.. Is it?
To anyone watching this video and considering to move, don't. Not because Summerville and the Charleston area sucks, but because we don't need anymore people 😂
Thanks Ryan, this video is awesome and so informative. Seems like a great town to live.
You’re welcome! Quick question…who’s Ryan?
Having a house built in Lochton. Will be finished in May 2024. Love the area and location. Can’t wait to move in.
It is great! Have a whole Cane Bay video coming soon.
@@TheBillOlson looking forward to seeing it.
6/4/23 Viewing and loving it while drinking my coffee. I loved the "statue pose"! Ha, ha!
Haha

Thank you and I will do! Reach out with any questions, I’m here to help!
Please, do not move to Summerville or Moncks Corner. We are extremely crowded.
@@RonDeSantis2028 is this THE Ron Desantis?!
@@TheBillOlson I wish
If you like crowded places, then by all means move. If you don’t like traffic, stay away. Bluffton isn’t anywhere near as bad as Summerville.
Hi Bill, Do you handle rental houses in the historic district of Summerville? Thanks!
Sometimes. Shoot me an email: Bill@livinginchs.com
Great video, I like to connect

Same. I wish ppl would stop moving here its getting ridiculous
Your comment is so out of place. Then move out
I love Summerville! Glad we got into White Gables a couple years ago
That’s a great neighborhood!
Lived here my entire adult life.
My equity thanks you for letting more people in.
But new people need to learn how to drive. Like seriously
You’re welcome! Can’t help with the driving part.
Summerville has a lot of manufacturing job.
LMAO the budget-friendly $400000 range... What is the off hand let me say $3000 a month? Lol
Compared to double that in Mount Pleasant, yes it’s budget friendly. And with today’s rate that’s around $2500/mo principal and interest.

Are you considering a move to Summerville, SC? What questions do you have?
RUclips Charleston realtors... For some reason this is hilarious.
What’s so funny?
