    Mate. I have been looking for a tripod head like this as well for a very long time and you have gotten it for the exact same reasons that I have just bought my one for. I needed something to be able to rotate 360 while facing forwards and this is the solution for that. Great minds think alike.

      @@RussellKlimasexactly. I was trying to come up with creative ways to position my tripod and use the horizontal rotation bit propped up so I could rotate it facing the camera forwards but I just could not find any way to do it. so Happy I have one now

    Will it work for stitching panorama images together?

      It's ideal for that. Just make sure your tripod is level & the camera is in the correct position ie. nodal point. There are plenty of tutorials re. nodal point.
