It's a beautiful song! Ariana DeBose's singing is excellent. I would love to watch Disney's Wish when it comes out!
Oh my goodness I already love this. Ariana already sounds great here. And I like the mix of what sounds like Spanish music and some North African beats?
I couldn’t perceive the North African aspect of the music until I found someone from another website pointing it out. I think it’s the drums or something?
It’s different then her D23 expo version though. But I can appreciate what I got from the 2 versions.
The D23 version of This Wish to me felt very emotionally impactful.
While the studio version seems it will focus more on how it will move the story. And how to properly portray Asha’s emotion and character in the song.
And it definitely sound like better singing. It’s more affordable in studio than live if you know why. I can’t wait to hear the full version.

Hopefully Disney will release the full song on the 16th since it's the official date of the 100th anniversary.
Oh. I was hoping that it would be in an earlier date. But now that you mentioned it.
It would be a lot more meaningful for it to be released on the actual day of the anniversary. But they could allow to be pre purchased before available to everyone.
@@bravestraven4650 exactly. Since they'll show 'Once Upon a Studio' on ABC the day before the anniversary, it makes too much sense to release the song the next day. This could be their next 'Let it Go'.
Disney announced today 'This Wish' will be released this Wednesday the 18th and will release a song from the movie every Wednesday until the release of the movie! 🙌

@@chloejoyhenry3137 that's why I'm only listening to 'This Wish' and wait to hear the other songs when the movie comes. But WB did the same thing releasing songs from the Barbie movie every week.

This version is MUCH better than the original.
We must spread as much positivity as we can about this movie. I just know it will either be an ok movie or the greatest movie Disney will ever make.
Of coarse it will obviously not be perfect. No piece of media is. But in my opinion if It’s good parts outweigh the less good parts. It’s a good movie. But we will see.
It can also just be something inbetween "ok" and "the greatest," you know?
