- Here is the 2020 Explorer Chevrolet Express 2500 Conversion Van! This one comes in the Explorer Limited SE trim with the Sport add-on! That includes a blacked out grill, blacked out turn signals, black 20" aluminum wheels, and a 40+ HP increase from a K&N air intake and an ECU tune!
This 2020 Chevrolet Express 2500 comes with the 6.0 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on the Explorer Express Van includes a backup camera, navigation system, and bluetooth audio. Options include a flat screen TV with a blu-ray player, lighting throughout, and even a hookup to plug in a video game system!

My grandparents where looking at it and we the kids said you brought 1 for every generation but our generation then that’s what got him to buy it
My grandpa had one. Man you couldn’t beat the comfort I fell asleep any trip over 30 mins. Back then the TVs were fairly small but we didn’t care there card games and story’s being told. I hope to have one for my families trips one day

I just bought a 2019 GMC Savana 2500 cargo van and I absolutely love it! It's set up for overland camping...so much room for all of my gear, including a Coleman cot, two chest of drawers, Jackery to power the lights and fan, a small portable refrigerator, a portable loo, Mr. Heater Buddy for the cold nights, velcro no see-um mesh for the sliding side door and back doors, curtains side and back, two gallon water dispenser and an organized tool wall: shovels, ground rake, axe, Silky saw, mechanics tools, recovery and breakdown kits. I also installed indoor/outdoor carpet for comfort. Hopefully within the next year I will be on the road to visit every lower 48 states and a trip to Alaska. Future plans include a Webasto dry heating system (gas version), insulation and 4X4 conversion with lift, Method wheels and Goodyear KO2 tires, maybe 33's. Having so much fun with this van conversion and that Vortec V8 engine is awesome!

I had 3 uncles with large vans and I remember camping, beach trips , etc, I’ve always loved full sized vans and thinking about getting me one now , especially with grandkids now road trips are alot easier in one of these rather than a suburban or Escalade. Beautiful van Chevy!

What a gorgeous, mean-looking van! These seem so much more practical and "easy to live with" than a tradition SUV body style. I don't see why more people/families don't choose the full size vans like they once did.
I own cadillac esv it is basically same size suv.but in van so much more useful room.
Just purchased this beautiful van last week. Thank God for end of the year sales, most I’ve ever paid on a vehicle but definitely worth it. Looking forward to future trips with the family in the future.

Could the TV and other electronic accessories (blu ray, apple tv, etc) run without the van's engine running? If yes, how long could it run on battery? Is there a secondary battery to ensure engine will start up?

YAAAAS, this is our van!!!! We looked all over the country for one on the lot.....found a copper one and BOOYAH, am sitting in it right now, on a road trip!
What is the mpg? I notice they never say anything about the gas mileage. Cost to fill up and etc
@@markshepherd6504 we run right about 13mpg. Run regular gas, we buy gas most often at Costco.

@@markshepherd6504 we've had our since January. No regrets. We put about 17K miles on it this year. There are a few glitches on ours that we've dealt with. For example, the center console cover latches were weak. The ride of the van is curious...because we don't tow anything, nor do we have a heavy load when we travel...occasionally we feel the 'hardness' of the suspension. Hard to explain. Anyway, we took it to a suspension specialist and after lengthy discussions with them, our best bet is to wait for a better shock system to be manufactured that fits this 2020 van, as its too new and there was nothing out there. Air suspension is a side option, but after the mechanic weighed the pros and cons of that option, we all agreed to just wait it out.

I have a '97 white Chevy Express 1500 hightop with the 350 V8. I really want one of these new ones, but couldn't imagine having one of these beasts in black. Would be a huge pain to see it dirty all the time.

I’ve owned 4 Chevrolet conversion vans. I loved them all . However I would like to to see some major interior design changes and engine upgrades. I now own a SUV. When and if GM does make major changes, if I like them, I’ll go back to the van! I miss the space.
Exactly what I thought. It’s nice on the outside and the front looks very mean but the interior is lacking compared to the older conversion vans. Personally I own a 95 g20 conversion van and I engine swapped it it has 30k miles haha and my dash alone is much nicer than this and it’s original so once there’s better and more interior designs and innovation I’ll start payments on a new one
Very nice work. I have a 2021 Chevy Express Cargo. In between the visors, overhead, there is a blank space that is almost a square shape. It appears to be hollow behind it. I want to put a monitor there for sideview, backup cameras. Do you know if that is hollow and is it a big job to remove the headliner to get in there?
Not sure, would want to ask local car audio store, they should know.

This van drives a little bit to the left too I can see the steering wheel on straight is a bit turned to right to compensate the pull I thought it was just my van that does that I have the same model. Wondering if they could fix that issue.

Good Ol K&N. Replace the damn mass airflow sensor more than the air filter.
The only thing that I dislike about this van is the Chevy emblem. The gold she be a black bow tie like some of the other new chevys

I remember looking at magazines in the 1970's & 1980's of conversion vans that were smaller than this, that had a little, under the counter refrigerator, a small, galley type sink, and some even had a one or two burner stove. Useful shit. Something you could kind of 'live' in for a weekend.
Everything nowadays seems to me to be, "style over substance". I don't "get" who is the intended customer for this van? If I wanted to take a group of people to a casino or bachelor party, or whatever, I'd be better off with one of those Mercedes Sprinter vans (they're larger). If I wanted to go camping, I'd be better off with a small RV (for roughly the same gas mileage, I'd get some semblance of a kitchen AND a toilet), and if I wanted to go Overlanding, I'd be better off with a 4WD SUV with a sleeping bag in the back and a portable refrigerator.
I don't see what this thing offers....................besides "illuminated cupholders", "Apple Car Play", an outlet plug for a video game, maybe a heated steering wheel, and GM's world-renowned craftsmanship. Sarcasm: OFF.

God. It is so good for my family vacations with 4 people. Sometimes we don't need like RV we just need spacious for 4 of us take nap easily then keep going to......why RV? Some RV they build too much furniture and unused stuff cause less space for sleeping.

It would be difficult to take the folding seats out, but the buckets are a bit easier.
