I just made it to UC a few days ago with Pekka Ram Evo wizard as well! But small tip: you should know when to bunker down and just spell cycle. In the last game, you were only an arrows and log away from winning. There you should have focused on defense and place your Pekka against the hogs instead of in the back, that way you try to minimize damage since the opponent looked like they could have taken a tower. But gg on the win though and good luck making it to UC!
This season I've reached the ultimate champion for 2nd time in my life, and... tbh, the emote is the only reason to try hard. After I got UC this season, I was given like 1600 purple points because of my 57% win rate, and I realized that there is no point in grinding anymore. I would probably have to get at least 1000 more points to be one of the best players in the world, so instead I'm just testing new decks there, losing the points all the way to 1200 so far 😂. And to answer your question, as someone who uses self-made royal giant deck, I can definitely tell that I hate PEKKA and this unbalanced meta 😭 most of my loses were caused by this card (especially if evolved and used with chef tower ofc).
