With such a weak Allen Bolt , it will easily break in case of a fall, and that screw is actually not on the frame and is supported by a metal bracket, so it will bend the bracket and most probably cause damage to the fairing in case of a fall

Question for Koshi (Fly High India) or anyone in the comments, would a half of a plastic tube with foam on the inside, and outter tube with aluminum rods work?
I like Race Sliders better than frame sliders because its a metal tube that goes across your bike, acting like a frame slider but better protection.
Race sliders are very rare and very expensive, looking for a cheaper do it yourself option. In theory it looks like a good option. Would like someone's feedback. Thanx

Gtknoob the frame sliders is not resting on the side panel directly ,there is little gap due to washer .It is resting on the small black frame which supports the panel.so if the bike will fall pressure will be transmitted to that black frame through washer

You should not save money while buying crash bobbins or frame sliders! Indians have this roadside cheap buy tendency. Go and buy R&G bobbins instead.
The only issue here is the mounting. Otherwise this will be as good as any other frame slider.

Fly So High thank you bro...really appreciate your efforts..I searched the door buffer in about 25 shops..I am only getting hollow door buffer ...not the one which you showed in the video..I got one solid PVC but the thickness was around 1 inch and the length was 8 cm ...the one that u are using looks like the thickness(diameter)is more then 1 inch...will wait for your reply bro...Here is my email ...riz.rits@gmail.com
