Beautiful old property. I’m surprised it’s been abandoned and unloved for so many years. Unfortunately the renovation would probably exceed the cost of demolition and rebuild. Stunning location. Thanks for sharing this content and happy new year to you all
Looks like it would be a listed building. They would only demolish it if it’s too far gone with the rot. Edit just got to the bit where he said they might demolish it lol.
Great explore as usual Colin what a beautiful place it was in its day really sad it’s going to be demoed probably be some horrible box out there with no character
Hi Guys great to see you exploring a good old house again. And what a house that must have been, with the surrounding land and gardens. What a shame to demolish it,surely it could be saved! Great commentary as usual Colin the only thing missing was a nice smelly fridge of freezer lol!! Look forward to what you find for next week.Take care all.😀
Thank you for sharing this amazing old house with us. It's like they had a lot of people over for swimming. Youngsters probably made themselves a space in the attic for privacy -- no longer needed. They grow up so fast and can't wait to get away from a marvelous house where people would gladly pay to come and stay. I would like to know the details about how it actually fell into disrepair and who it was that actually gave up on it. 😞
Another great explore Colin. It's a shame such a stately mansion sets empty and left to decay and vandalism. Much too large for my needs, but I would make proper use of it as a bed and breakfast. Cheers from the states, Merry Christmas and a healthy, Happy New Year to you and yours 👊🤙
I love watching your videos and want to start exploring myself. Please would you make a video on how to use a gimbal when exploring and how to get the best out of it? Thank you. 😊
What a truly gorgeous place, stunning inside and out. But also, you children, wasn't that photo of a Bob Geldof from around his Boomtown Rat days? 😊😂 Anyway, absolutely gorgeous place and grounds and utterly criminal to see it gone to wrack and ruin like that when it was built with such attention to detail. I also believe that first bedroom downstairs was for an older or disabled person. The bathroom attached to that had a saddleband bath lift in (I had one for years, bloody thing was Awful!!). I feel the other room there the other side of the bathroom was maybe a private living room for them. Fabulous video, loved this place ❤
I think Dave and Mark from Abadoned World Explorer visited this house a few weeks ago, they were caught out by the owners, it is still owned by the family of the owners, the house is due to be demolished because the cost to repair would be too enormous to complete!
I’ve mixed feelings about this place being demolished. Thatched roof, lots of timber and the windows would inevitably need replacing ££££. I don’t think the place is that spectacular in style. The location though is amazing. Also finding a new home for the aga, getting a good price and transporting it there is possibly more trouble than it’s worth. So there’s a good chance that will be scrapped.
This looks like it may have at one stage been a guest house possibly for Fishing Trips, the different sized bathrooms makes me think more likely of seeing Men using the place than females, the clarification for me that it may have been a guest house of some sort was the lift for a disabled person on one of the baths. There was a Boat i think right in line with the house, may actually belong to the place, maybe all three especially if consider the boathouse empty. Some of these properties especially in and around london were bought by Russian's for a time back when things where going on in Russia where may have fled to the UK. Spme allegedly the reason they lie empty like they do is due to the owners have so much property all over the World they forget where may have bought something.... quite sad really as Super Mansions are allowed to be left to the hands of Looters. Finally a Building is only listed if recognized as having national importance, think it also needs to be known to exist to the National Heritage List for England....... for me the Thatched Roof makes me feel this should be as still looks immaculate. Will be a shame if this is demolished as looks like it could be a Superb Property if fixed.
Yeah and just the message to the bearded Explorer I was not criticising you whatsoever I love your videos I was criticising the first person who made a comment or one of the people made a comment who said do you have permission or are you trespassing so before when people read my comment why don't you look at actually what I'm saying because it really pisses me off when you when stupid people don't read what I've actually said
It’s on 12 acres so no doubt a developer owns it. It’s easier to get an eyesore demolished than a perfect listed property. Plus someone is paying for the cameras and security.
@stuartfitt6585 sure I suppose and I enjoy them discovering some amazing cars etc, however if this was my family's property, then I would have appreciated at least an attempt to request entry. I know these guys are respectful and I was just wondering if it's ok for the general public, like even me to go onto abandoned property like this ?
Hi there bearded Explorer I just want to add a comment the person who first said who's left a message saying do you have permission or are you trespassing are you really that stupid every single person who does a video in some way or another is trespassing ok the fact of the matter is the bearded Explorer along with abandoned world Explorer and every other person who goes into his buildings in some way or other you could say is trespassing but there again if the property does not belong to anyone it's not really trespassing is it because if the family has not claimed it and and the occupants are passed away and no one owns it they are not really trespassing obviously if there was an alarm system up and they got in and the alarm system went off and security come then yes it'd be trespassing but anyway bearded Explorer I do enjoy your video some I'm not too keen on but most of videos I really enjoy and it's great when you do Mansions like this just remember people they film this so as long as they're not touching anything or another word stealing anything which I'm sure they're not the law can't really touch them oh and another thing as long as they don't break in and they're very find the way in like a broken door that's open or a broken window that's open ok then bye law they're allowed to go in because they can't be done for breaking and entering I just thought I'll put it out there because obviously some people are not too bright😅
Hi there I was just responding to what you put on here yeah can I just say something are you you're not the brightest of people how can I get permission if the people are dead answer that one what are they going to do go to the grave and say excuse me can I look in your property that's the whole point of it being a bandon if there was security cameras ok up there then it be a different matter have a good day
If I had the kind of money needed I would snatch this place up in a heartbeat.
The picture of the bloke was Bob Geldof. Nice explore fellas. All the best.
That was a nice house. Thank you very much for the exploration. I enjoyed it. 😊.
can you imagine that back its day WOW
Beautiful old property. I’m surprised it’s been abandoned and unloved for so many years. Unfortunately the renovation would probably exceed the cost of demolition and rebuild. Stunning location. Thanks for sharing this content and happy new year to you all

Amazing views!
What a beautiful house. I love the little pet graveyard.
So magical i had to watch it twice consecutive 😍
Such an amazing place. It'd be criminal to demolish it really.
I would buy that right now without a proper survey
I’d buy the place for the big rooms & the fireplaces. This place is amazing

I hope they can salvage those windows- theyre gorgeous!
The picture is of a young Bob Geldoff and the car looks like a Mk2 Jag

The old babycham mansion and outhouse
Be careful Colin, the boys from Vacant Haven was in there and was run out by security and almost caught.
They can only ask you to leave. 👍
28:45 - What is the little room at the back of the cupboard?
The house is Tudor revival or replica if you prefer
So sad the way the rooms have gone now
Abandoned world explorer was ere. Met the new owners
I used to watch his channel until he disappeared up his own backside.
👍👍❤❤
how do you find these places?
The car is a jag mk2

Thanks for another great upload. Looks like a failed business venture
Thought it was being pulled down
That lake needs a lot more water.
Does anyone local to Southampton/ Hampshire know where this is
Google Babycham mansion and you'll get all the info plus name and pics. I'm in Scotland and it took me all of 5 minutes to find it.
Beaulieu
Kitchen small
Haven’t you looked at this before
the pool has a cover on that has sagged under the weight of rainwater
Just one more thing the abandoned world Explorer has already done this property
Good I like it😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

3:30 where’s Batman?
How come you’ve gone for an intro similar to vacant haven?
Are my eyes deceiving me or is there someone down the long overgrown driveway?
🎅🎅🎁🎁🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍

Not my dream,
A money pit
It's going to be a immigrant hostel so make the best of it.
Why is it abandoned?

Do you have permission or are you trespassing ?
They don’t break in or break everything it abandoned no harm in exploiting and trespassing is a civil offence he

Why are you watching if you have these scruples and reservations ? 😂.
Strange how such a place became abandoned - I wonder who owns it?
