@@PabloAndresDealbera you will never like everything about anyone, which is sad. you will never know anyone completely. but sofia likes literally everything she knows about her.
She is one of the best singers-songwriters of this generation. I always feel so upset and angry when such artists don't get the recognition they deserve
The influence of Arctic Monkeys always shows and it’s never a bad thing. This is evening music for a drive or a walk. So sentimental and dreamlike. Just love the reverb and tremelo. She’s and her band mates are so well knit.
Oh, Arctic monkeys influence... Interesting bc i knew her music for a long time but i just found out she's american, which is very surprising bc her music always gave me strictly european vibes, idk why
The band is very sensitive to the songs. Very good playing. Mel also adds just the right contrast. She’s a great player. Her violin bits and lead guitar bits are extraordinary.
I have listened to her new album, The Archer, on repeat since it dropped and I'm so happy this video exists because I couldn't make her show in LA and I was SO SAD.
ikr it made me sad that so many people thought she had been eclipsed by Alex Turner in her debut. I think it is a masterpiece that could only be made possible by both geniuses.
Granted I've only listened to 3 minutes so far but what I hear is the standard hipster chick singing voice affectation that every halfass uses these days. It's neither unique nor out there, it's just tiresome.
Mathis Dutron Cause he’s fucking Dave Grohl!!! All joking aside, if you haven’t watched “Play” you should. He plays like 23 different pieces of musical equipment in it.
Looks like a bad ass 70s strat, some unique bass I can't put my finger on, and a sick mustang. Don't know shit about drums and keyboards but they sound nice enough. I approve!
Ah yes. I was a bit off lol. Upon further examination yes! It is a music master. The writing on the head stock is done in that bold black lettering so I just jumped the gun and assumed it was a 70s strat. In my defense though it's still a very 70s ish guitar lol. Looking closer at the body though and it's clearly not a strat body and more of a mustang body. Hardly even remembered that those are a thing. They seem pretty dope! A nice take on a strat, mustang, and duo sonic kind of vibe! Her look with that guitar is memorable as hell! Great match! Love the dark colors. And the head stock on that bass is a dead give away that it's a d'angelico. Never played one or even seen one in real life but man oh man you can't forget that head stock. I just didn't catch it since she's in the way of the head stock for most of this performance. LOVE the body on that thing. Reminds me of those made in Mexico Toranados. John Frusciante destroyed a orange one in the can't stop music video : ( And the guitar on the stand, the white one, is totally a mustang if I'm not mistaken. Can't hate on the mustangs lol. I prefer strats and teles but you know... These are still bad ass as hell.
@@soyborne.bornmadeandundone1342 Recently saw the music master in The Tallest Man On Earth's hands, and I THINK Alex Turner's got one too but maybe I'm wrong, they are nice indeed!

Her Lisp is so adorable i'm going to explode
Yes!!! When I heard it I was like: „Wait... omg was that a lisp??“ 😍 fell instantly in love with her
Can’t believe Dave Grohl has played drums for Nirvana, front man for Foo Fighters and now bass for Alexandria Saviour
😂😅😂😅
Tuned 🤣🤣🤣
hahahaha
he's pretty much doing a side quest right now
this
It is very weird to me that this young woman is not more famous
Definitely not in the position she deserves
her voice is a gift for our ears
Never heard of her before, just showed up on my recommendations... damn, youtube knows me so well.
Time to stream her discography!
She got catapulted up because Alex Turner helped write and produce her first album. She is absolutely amazing in her own rite though
same
She opened for Daughter a while back, but had a whole Stevie Nicks aesthetic at the time
if you like this, you might dig ....

When she sang "happiness" in the first song her eyes looked so sad.
Just discovered her and it's amazing. She's amazing. The musicians are amazing. Holy Christmas cookies this is great
Ghost cookies

The pianist and violinist are amazing
She’s hypnotising
that lead tone is excellent on "crying all the time"
That guitar tone sounds so good.
Pls come to Brazil some day!

I also couldn't make her shows on 6/28, 11/19 but I caught her on 2/15 at The Pico Union Project.
Great show, she seemed very shy on stage.
She's so great. Since the first album... now this!

Alexandra Savior is captivating and wonderful. One of my fav current artists. Great intimate live setting, thanks!

This is just really really good, she is so talented.
she’s magical wow
That rift at 8:16 is a really dope touch. Song morphs for a second like something from Ghost. Great work Alex!
Alex had nothing to do with the archer.

Soft currents sounds like something Richard Harley would write, lovely song !
I like the way teh host finds some scintillating questions to ask between every song so you don't get too caught up in the music.
Love the lady who plays the guitar in this . Heavenly sounds
when the drums came in on but you i just lost it wow
I've lost count of the amount of times I've listened to this. Just too good!

I love how the second she says working with Cohen was "smooth sailing" she looks really tense and darts her eyes in all directions...
