This is fantastic! I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to create my own FPP pattern from a photo but learning your methods made it a lot easier. Just ordered your book and can't wait for it to arrive!
Why don't you just make the object & background separately, then simply affix the object to the background? That seems much easier. The object can have fusible added after, or use fused pieces from the Starr, like Emily Taylor`s parchment method. I like the KISS principle. It suits my lazy nature & simple mind 😄
Fantastic video! I just started foundation paper piecing and can't wait to try this. Thank you.
Me too
Very clever and creative. Thank you for demonstrating.

Gracias por enseñarme a hacer esa técnica. Explicas muy bien. 💕
This is so helpful. Thank you. Helps me to think through the process logically.
Great video! I don’t know how I missed seeing it before! I’m so glad I found it. ❤️
This is an absolutely amazing video with so much detail. Thank you.

You can scrap my comments. They don't apply to foundation piecing. Too difficult for me. 😄
Too much sewing, I should have said.
