He passes caution order termination at 4:31...he notches up but can't pick up speed due to steep gradient...he struggles with slippery wet rails till 7:00....then....he flies !!!!

@@simonjithink2117 It's just knowing how our railways work by observing over years of travelling. A diesel loco has 8 " notches " by which power is stepped up gradually to the traction motors. Here after passing the speed restriction zone ( you can see at 3:22 the speed restriction triangular board for the opposite direction , near the 128 km stone.) After that he notches up but for the power fed ( you can hear the loco roaring it's heart out )...the train is moving sluggishly. This is because of a gradient with added factor of wet slippery rails as there is a light drizzle.

This sound works as a therapy if I am in stress... We are going to miss these locomotives in future 😔 just imagine that generation who grow up by watching steam locomotives.. And in front of them Indian railways killed them brutally. Now this going to happen with these big muscular boys. Electric loco is Boring. We lost blue ICF already

Great sound there , just wanna know why at (1:59 ) there is pause in the sound of ENGINE acceleration as if power surge down and again it come back and accelerates. would love to know proper answer to this . was searching all around couldnot find a proper explanation. ( Is is something realted to torque factor ) .

Hello..
Well I don't know much but yes I read it and saw some videos related to that..
Well, the pause indicates transfer of power of motors(induction motors)
When around 35-37 km/h speed is achieved then pilot change motor from series to parallel action so there is a pause and at that time motors are actually stop because of power isn't transmitted to them..
So we feel a sudden jerk or a stopping power of train..but suddenly changing to parallel transmission of power cause motors start to run and pause is over..!
Hope u got it..well it's not perfect explanation..you can search on youtube regarding series parallel action of Alco loco
