Hello Tinman! I have to give a story. I have a 545 Mark ii and a 562XP Mark i. I loved my 545 so much and really became interested in the 562XP. I remember reading and seeing some bad things about them. I got kinda nervous about them but I kept searching. In fact, I even saw your video showing this saw and you telling a similar story as you did in this video. I remember it starting easily for you and you were going to keep running it even though it was a bit ragged.
So I bought one about 1 year ago. I LOVE IT! That has to be stated. I have documented this full well. I have been transparent and have ZERO agenda against the brand.
My saw is in the shop once again. In 1 year it has spent weeks in the shop. They have replaced parts, they have done leakdown tests and are doing them again. The saw is showing 9 hrs on the computer. It has more because I believe when they replaced the carb, the hour meter was reset. I do however think it has less than 20. Many people may have seen what I have going on.
The big thing for me is that while I always take more than 1 saw, this 562XP leaves me no choice but to bring another. It ran perfectly well for months then failed again. I may have just gotten a saw with an intermittent gremlin...... and I understand that. Another channel had a 562XP purchased the same time as mine and his coil failed immediately. He uses and loves his 545 and 550XP. They have been flawless for him. His 400c and 500i have been good. He like me, regrets the 562XP purchase.
It is simply my favorite saw to run due to how smooth and powerful it is, but has proven to not be a good saw for me. That is just my experience.
Keep up the good work Tinman!
I will say this..... my ECHO CS-620PW has run perfectly but also had a oil pump failure but the 562XP is quicker and nicer to run. All of this is documented in real time on my side. Thank you again

Was just wondering if you watched any of the Tinman's content while watching this one!
Sad how Husqvarna seems to have taken a few steps backward, with regard to reliability of the 562's.

@@aaronpowell4885 I certainly had. You know me AP. I am the type of person that REALLY researches deeply and agonizes about this stuff. Honestly, when I bought my 620, the 562 is what I wanted first. So much so that I went and bought the 562 later just cause I couldn't get it out of my mind. My 545 has been so good that every time I ran it I thought to myself, what is the 60CC 562 like if this 545 runs like this. Again, I think you can attest, I have tried to be very fair about the situation but it is certainly frustrating. Thank you AP.

Recently added the older little brother to the 562 to the stable. A 261. I like the old stuff. It's actually pretty amazing how much remains either unchanged, or slightly modified. Seems to be a good saw so far.

I have 560xpg from 2012 and had no issues what so ever. Reliable and good power. Few years ago went on a dealer and they look up the data from Autotune, everything ok and total running time was 623hrs. Now its about 800 and saw is running good.

Interesting. Thanks for posting and showing that cylinder and piston.
Only worked on two 550s, both thrashed with dull chains and both nipped up. Rebuilt one with new ring and cleaned up cylinder and piston and it did another six months before it was blown big time. Same issue. Dull chains kill saws. Harder on these 5 series rev junkies.

I agree...in fact...this is gonna be my next saw!...people listen to EVERYBODY on here yacking about this or that...but I'm a stand alone type of guy that HAS to have my own experiences. I was debating between the MS 400 or 562..but the 562 to me is just "sexier" plus I wanna prove that it can pull a 28"!! SHARP CHAIN is a MUST on ALL MY SAWS AND I've been running Opti-2 for years here too! So preciate the info! DEFINITELY helped me settle on my next cutter!

If this saw will run, it is an awesome piece. But however they sadly fail really often, even If you buy this new from Husky.
Also Heat is an big problem on these, go to get this muffler modded💪
Go for it, but that saw could cost a lot of money in the future 😬😬at least the MK 1 560/562

It’s guys like you and Buckin that have gotten me way deeper down the rabbit hole. I bought a 585 last year and a 562 Mk2 about a month ago. I have an old 51 that was old when I bought it and it will still run like a scalded dog 16 years going. I run nothing but 40:1 non ethanol gas in all my saws and have for years. Piston in that old 51 still shines like a diamond in a goats A$$. 🤣😂. Still working on my second tank of fuel on that 62. Wanting to build a pipe for one or the other or both I have plenty of stainless tubing in various sizes. I also have access to a milling machine to make exhaust plates that I can weld to. What size and length would you suggest without having to go and rejet it.? Sorry for the long winded comment. Much love to you from North Carolina and be careful out there.

Tinman that's a true testament of how Husqvarna saws are tuff, I put a 2171 together with part's from a couple different saws to make a good one for my firewood buisness and the cylinder wasn't perfect had some scoring I couldn't clean up , but it runs great and I just pulled it down and other than that spot in the cylinder still in good condition,

Hello tinman and friends,. The 562 along with the autotune/5 series saws are very confusing/contruvervial.....and i keep a very open mind when it comes down to brand/product quality. This 562 is nasty, it boils down to not running ethanol along with low grade oil.....thas a whole nother rabbit hole!! But for me, ive only ever ran non eth fuel an husky oil, and opened the muff along the same lines you have.......wow, all i can saw is wow, its a saw to wtite home about, at 13,500 rippers, thers no room for h20 contamination, its a good note for Husqvarna to end their combustion chamber chapter on, and im a o44, 360 fan..so i feel its a very non brand fav, biased opinion? IMHO, thank you again, good day!!

I don't know about you husky fellas? For a 10-year-old saw that wasn't that impressive to me. I have to admit I am a Stihl man myself but I do have one husky. It's 20 years older than that saw and it is a 288 XP that was commercially used and I would be disappointed if it had that much wear on it. Great videos though, thanks tinman! 👍

Wow ,sure glad you know what goes where with that thing ,or do you? I honestly would be lost ..ker shlang ,that would be it for 1 562. I want to watch to see how it runs after you put it back together ..I think Buckin got the Mark 2 didn’t he? I know he loves it..reason i ask is I am a Husqvarna guy and have a 372 and a 572 . My 572 is missing a bit and she runs so hot sometimes I don’t even run full throttle . I had the same anti vibe spring go on my 572 as on your 562 besides that it has never been in the shop ..this time I think I will get it plugged in because I wouldn’t have a clue ..so the next few days I will run my 372xp ..I am thinking on 1 more as I cut pretty steady and now I am leaning towards the 562 mark2 ..any thoughts appreciated ..71 years young and still doing it…cheers and thanks for your channel and the time and effort you put into making videos ..
