one thing you failed to share in the "how to" video at the end is the two notches that need to be made on the front face at the bottom. I kept shaving the bottom of mine thinking the interference preventing my cover from fitting properly was from the bottom, when it was actually from the two notches that were needed to be made at the bottom of the front of the housing opening just below the two lowest bearing capture holes. Just an FYI.
Good point. I hope you found that on time and didn't trash the housing.... I will make a remark on the product page and also here on the video description.
I didn't even realize that the link for my shapeways store was missing! You can find all the versions here: www.shapeways.com/shops/progress-rc?section=The+Barber%2FAR60&s=0 If you need help you can message me here or on FB / Instagram (search progressiveRC).
@@progressive_rc Hi I need the fat barber for stock locker and gears but I had to flip my front axle to put the diff on the passenger side and then flip my ring and piñon to run a Cheezburger transmission. So I need a covers that are opposite each other. Front axle the ring gear is closer to passenger wheel and the rear is the same closer to passenger wheel. But u make them like that?
@@mdmtb4807 yes. There are 2 versions (version 1 and version 2) of each Barber for passenger or driver side ring gear. Make sure you pick the correct ones. It doesnt matter if you flip the axle or not, the only thing to look at is what side the ring gear is. Hope you like it!
