Hi, I'm Andy, Donald Campbell is my hero, I love his boat, to see your bluebird on u tube is awesome. I have several models of the Bluebird vehicles and boats lncluding other vehicles of British land and Water speed records (only British mind you). All the best.
A great model, and all a testament to Ernie's skill, the only let down in this video is the turkey who is videoing it! I never saw a decent view of the model making a fast pass of the camera without it dropping out of the frame or missing it with a to close a closeup. Fantastic model Ernie, well done!
Fanbloodytastic I've been building the k7 since I was a young lad I'm nearly 50 now , I've never had a drawing to work on , but from pics I built some good ones BUT nothing as good as this . Thanks for this superb video and model
Looks so good you could actually use it for a documentary about the real thing. It would look much better than the silly CG most documentaries use nowadays.
This would be a great video if not for the constant shifting from one view to another and short runs. Let it stretch its legs, if your afraid to run it, put it in a display case and leave it there!
Model boats aren't quite like the real thing. A person standing on a fixed point on the ground? At full speed, pretty soon he can't see the boat well enough to make command inputs and has to slow down. A boat with a driver on board doesn't have to worry about that. Perhaps with FPV longer runs could be practical. Even then you don't have fun things like peripheral vision.
