If I remember right, Subnautica 2 is about getting back to your home planet, and your company's president sends you back with a coworker to collect treasure to pay off his debt. Wait, that's another video game? Are you sure?
Not through the whole VOD yet but I really hope Stephen made it to the biomes he hasn’t seen yet. Edit: yay I’m so glad he went to see the sea treaders ❤
I wonder when Stephen is going to do a playthrough of Subnautica: Below Zero? Basically Stephen does not find horror games scary like Resident Evil or Silent Hill and such. On the other hand it's open world survival games that contain horror elements that are a class of their own to Stephen.
15:37 Setting up a base in Hell was a mistake, confirmed. Also: I am not a big fan of highly-edited videos like the new Subnautica series on your main channel, so have been watching the vods while cooking and doing art, and have enjoyed it immensely! Some streamers have very loud/obnoxious alerts, but yours are a decent volume, and chosen to thematically match the game, which makes them a lot of fun. 16 fathoms jumpscares, Peggy going 'awhee' along your journey, and fishing up stuff for viewers in the most inopportune times are all a riot and add to the deep sea adventure experience. I noticed that your intro sections are getting shorter and wonder if you've done that to make the vods more youtube-friendly? If so I really appreciate it; 10-15m of chatting is fun, but doesn't take up a huge portion of the video and get frustrating for vod viewers the way the 40m segments in the past did (at least imo). I hope you don't mind the feedback? I love your videos and since your channel has been struggling lately with all of RUclips's unfortunate new changes, I hoped that maybe feedback on how a fan of old-school LP's is enjoying your vods might be helpful. My best friend is also a fan of old school LP's, and I recently converted them to watching your channel, too :3 Wishing you and Mal and Keppy all the best!
I always love hearing about how folks watch our stuff! Plays and VOD feel like two different sides of the same coin, for two similar but very different viewers. For those that can sink the time into it, I definitely feel like the streams/VODs are a worthwhile experience! Intro segments tend to be shorter on my single-player content as compared to the Friday night streams with Mal, where the intro/breaks are longer and as much of the experience as the game itself. There's no conscious change on my part for that, but for anyone who wants to get straight into the game, I tend to include time stamps for jumping ahead on the Friday stuff. Some people want to get straight into the game, and others love the intro alerts and conversation, so again, just two different audiences. I'm glad you're enjoying things, and thanks for telling your friend about us, too! We've definitely had a slightly different approach to streaming games than others, but we really love what we do.
Almonds are best for desserts! Almond extract, thinly-sliced almonds as garnish....that's their best use. As nuts to eat whole, they taste good but are quite hard and dry. And almond milk...the less said about that, the better.
40:00 I think the idea is to communicate that it's not supposed to be treated as a main mechanic? Like, people can probably use it if they want, but its purpose is only for this.
I have OAS, i love the nuts im 'allergic' to but can't stand to eat them for long. Cashews win favorite for low effort (ie, easy to find and im not allergic and so its best if i don't want my throat to be sad/if i don't want to cook nuts). Hazelnuts, almonds and macademias are my favorite for the effort otherwise. Almonds are a favorite from our tree but from the store are pretty sad. I'm not allergic to Macadamias but the good ones are expensive and harder to find. Edit: ooh, I forgot pistachios! Those be great, especially as ice cream. So glad I'm not allergic. Peanuts are okay, not really worth the effort unless it is in a good recipe.
And he did it all without getting the good diving suit.
But hey, at least he caved and made a base.

🤣
Lmao, loved everyone spamming the fish
Allergic to cashews, son is allergic to peanuts, so it's pistachios for me (would be pecans if they were sold at my grocery store roasted and salted).

Love to see a video uploaded 30 seconds ago

Very much enjoyed this playthrough and look forward to see what comes next!

Almond milk is actually surprisingly good with Honey Bunches of Oats (with almonds) 😂
Hey don't you dare slander Almond Milk. I made them myself before and boy did I enjoy it.
It funny that he do not recall he did Hulk colors
Now a game that be on the safe side will be Planet Crafter
That truly was the time capsule of all time.

Doesn't find horror games very scary eh. Fair... But alien isolation??
