    Make your map bigger and don't laser focus on Kharkiv. First, they are stretching out the AFU forces. Second, they can move south to fullfil the objective of clearing the Donbas. Third, depending on the AFU response, they can push hard in other areas where Ukraine is pulling forces to man the Kharkiv line. The main attack could literally be Kherson. But admittedly, Putin hasn't consulted me.

    Heavy battles near Volchansk, machine gun fire thunders on the northern outskirts. This was also admitted by the head of the city administration Tamaz Gambarashvili. “Yes, indeed, on the northern border of the city itself you can hear machine gun shots and explosions. But Volchansk is located 4 km from the border, and this zone is constantly under fire, there are constant battles,” he said. He avoided answering the question whether there are Russian military in the city: “now this information has not been officially confirmed, because the military is currently working.” Well I can assure you: The Russian Armed Forces have entered the first streets of Volchansk.

GUR officers and Kraken are rushed into battle, entire brigades are withdrawn from other directions, Mongolian-tactics which opens the road in other directions. the Russian Armed Forces are using aviation, artillery, MLRS, TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems, FABs, precision guided bombs and (hypersonic) missiles. The "Storm of the North" using their momentum, continues to move forward, advancing through the smoke-filled Slobozhanshchina. Day and night, despite heavy enemy fire, the Northern troops go and keep destroying the enemy.

    That's exactly what I wrote, when they started their attack. That I think, they will deploy artillery and shoot at the city, to force Ukraine to react and to commit more forces to the defense. It's Russia, so they might even shoot at civilian areas, just so Ukraine has to deploy more forces, and has to pull them from other places from the frontlines 😕

    • @leonnunhofer3453
      @leonnunhofer3453 20 дней назад

      For russia it is about inexpensive artillery, and even their stocks will run out, but it will take 2 or even 3 more years.
      For Ukraine, it would be about mobile, long range self-propelled artillery or HIMARS, and reconnaissance drones, to spot and destroy russian artillery. That's also what we see basically since Ukraine got western self-propelled howitzers: they destroy thousands pieces of artillery, while losing close to none self-propelled artillery, but Russia replaces them as fast as Ukraine can destroy them, and uses them to destroy Ukraine's positions
      Edit: so basically a clash of 2 different philosophies in terms of artillery.

    • @briansale5619
      @briansale5619 20 дней назад

      Well I think that the Russians consider Kharkov a Russian city and will just surround it and wait. There is no need to destroy the city as it looks to me that the end of the war could happen in a few months. The Donbass is their main focus and that will not change. They just had to deal with the shelling of Russian territory. This idea of sending troops forward with no tanks like it is a meat grinder is not what is really happening. The troops can and do call on support from drones, air and a curtain of steel in front of them.

    • @leonnunhofer3453
      @leonnunhofer3453 20 дней назад +1

      That's close to what I think. I think, it's not about taking the city, but about shooting at civilians, so Ukraine has to engage into russian artillery positions in the hills. For that, Ukraine should have more troops to be successful, and there are 50k russians. So Ukraine would have to pull a lot of troops from all parts of the frontline, and that's impossible. Even mobilising troops won't change that, because they still would need months of training

    • @Notrusbot
      @Notrusbot 20 дней назад

      Russian meat waves are propaganda for Ukraine. Ukraine is doing the same thing, because it simply does not have the shells to prepare for an attack. In his opinion, now everything is heading towards a sharp increase in the dynamics of the Russian military-industrial complex and an increase in military production in the Russian Federation. Belousov played a role “in creating a growth model for the Russian economy, deep structural transformations and adaptation to sanctions.” “Very bad news for us, since our ministerial positions are antipodes to Belousov’s policies with an agenda of vulgar liberalism during the war. You can evaluate the results yourself ,” writes the economist.

      lakeliving2013 has evidence to back his statement like the facts when russia went to the UN to announce it was absorbing the4 Ukraine Oblasts it only received one vote of approval, its own.
      Secondly, russia was sanctioned by the UN Council of Human Rights and rather than improved walked out while a civilized country would try and improve. April 2022, 93 countries voted to sanction russia in the council, 24 supported russia, that is a 4:1 disapproval that consider russia on the wrong side of history. So please, present your evidence of 2/3 supporting russia morality, we will all wait in anticipation your evidence. :)

    On the Kupyansk sector of the front, the Russian Armed Forces continue to consolidate in previously occupied positions. After the start of fighting in Berestovo, the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces systematically worsened dramatically: the Russian Armed Forces bypassed enemy positions to attack enemy positions from the flanks. The movement of Russian troops does not stop in the Avdeyevka direction: pushing straight through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, like a hot knife through butter. Units of the Russian Armed Forces are approaching Novoprokopovsky and Sokol. The enemy’s enormous lack of reserves plays into the hands of Russian soldiers, the Ukrainian Armed Forces only have their shovels to defend themselves with, which of course leads to corresponding consequences....

      "Russians would of rather Ukraine come to a peaceful solution 2 years ago in Turkey then to have this war" - I'm sure russia would have, but Ukraine and its people never wanted to be part of russia and neither did the majority of the Donetsk. When the separatists took power only 27% of the Oblasts population supported returning to russia and another 5% full independence from both russia and Ukraine. This is shown in reports from Donetsk Institute for Social Research and Political Analysis plus the Kiev Institute of Sociology taken in April 2014 days before the separatists backed by russia took up arms and by force took control.

    More drones, this is what a normal status report should look like. Like Lenin’s articles in the midst of the civil war: “The socialist fatherland is in danger” or Stalin’s in 1931 “if we don’t cover the distance of 100 years in 10 years, we will simply be crushed”, said the new Russian Minister of Defense Belousov today.
    According to Western analysts, the appointment of Belousov to the post of Minister of Defense is simply connected with the need to implement the sharply increased volume of state defense orders and the budget of the Ministry of Defense, which in general has almost tripled over the past three years. This is the first reason.
    The second consideration may be related to the fact that new people will be needed in the RF Ministry of Defense to optimize the military department’s expenses in peacetime after the end of the Special Military Operation, which will be very soon.
