Nigerians are SUCCESS Crazy. That is why some impatient ones take a shortcut to be rich by pushing drugs. However, majority of Nigerians are hard working people in whatever they do and strive to succeed by all means. All families in Nigeria cherish good success. So competition to succeed is fierce. It is the exceptional ones that you hear their names. There are millions of others who are very comfortable millionaires and potential billionaires too.

Yes, he is one investor to be wary of. Most importantly BlackRock, as they tend to blacklist companies that don't adhere to their policies. They've expanded their footprint to Africa and this is a tad troubling .

Honestly, I sincerely appreciate your concern and I know why you're doing so. But let me tell you this, Africa then is totally different from Africa now.
The West led by America ran a UNIPOLAR world where their WORLD BANK, IMF, SWIFT, etc were used to control or subjugate the rest of the world, especially the global South.
Now with the emergence of BRICS who provides a MULTIPOLAR world with alternatives, that control is gone. That is why African countries are jettisoning everything West for BRICS. Things are changing and they cannot come to Africa and invest with oppressive conditions. We now know better.
Nigeria for example, is gradually cutting off their umbilical chords. We are wagging war against OIL THEFT they have been carrying out to cripple our economy. Presently, there is a serious ongoing reforms in MONETARY anf FISCAL/TAXES to reposition Nigeria. All the laws are being reviewed to expunge the ones they subtly planted to cage us. We now know better. When Nigeria is through, and come out shining. The rest of Africa will follow suit.
It is not easy to look at these people in the eyes directly and turn away from them without heavy consequences. Remember what happened to Zimbabwe and Venezuela. Also coupled with the fact that USA alone has over 40 military bases on the soil of Africa likewise some of the European countries like France, UK, etc. Tbis is where they train rebels and terrorists to destabilize any country that say no to their wishes. Such country will just implode from inside.
But now that Africa has alternative in BRICS to trade with, we can call their bluff off now. But we will not do it rudely but diplomatically. Why? We are still building the continent. We need peace to develop. These people are war mongers, we need to avoid them stylishly till we build our own Army that is strong.
But any investors who comes to Africa with a colonial mentality to rip the people off, such investor will collect wotowoto.
