Older Catholic here. Just getting into praying the LOH. Wow. A lot to learn. The Night Prayer is probably the easiest place to begin learning this this wonderful liturgy. The church really needs to stress more! I know the Mass and Rosary have great emphasis placed on it, but we need more on the LOH. Thanks for a simple video for someone new! 🙏
Wonderful video! Thank you for the instruction and inspiration! It’s very helpful. The only little suggestion I have is to use a candle that is in a glass or tin holder for safety reasons. There are also candles with LED lights (no actual flame). I know of someone who left a candle unattended and it was forgotten. It burned their house down. Thank you for making this video. Well done! Peace be with you! (Brenda Annan)
Hey!! Thank you so much for these videos super thankful I just ran into you. i have a question or maybe a video request? I have had the Liturgy of the Hours books for the past couple months because I have wanted to start, but I just don't know how to separate the strings (there's so many and don't know where to place them). Can you maybe help, thank you and God bless!
Hey thank you! Glad you appreciate these videos. The strings are bookmarks for each of the spots throughout the day so it is easy to flip to them. I usually put one at the Sunday of the week. One on the day of the week in the right week. And one on the saint/feast of the day. The one for the commons I may have to flip to depending on the feast day. That might seem complicated, but hopefully that helps. I may do a video on it so it is more clear. Peace! :)
It should. I am from Canada, but the liturgy of the hours do not really differ. If it is in English, then will probably be the same as the diocese of Chicago since it is the official prayer of the church. Thanks for watchingb

would it work for the liturgy of hours Archdiocese of Chicago?

I've seen 4 other vidios on this and it sounds just to complicated with markers....days...different book...etc etc
