In tech sales because of you Trent. Started my pursuit of tech sales journey in 2022, and landed my job in 2024. I never gave up and you were a big influence. Keep going Trent!
Dude you are awesome! Started watching your videos when I landed my job 3 months ago and things are going great, so thank you man. Your videos helped a lot.
I set up a Slate AX router as a VPN server at a family member's house in FL. I have another one with me here in the Philippines and it's set up as its client. All of my devices here in the Philippines have a residential US IP address. 😁
@@TrentDressel Of course appropriate measures would be needed if I do not disclose this such as ax routers. Very high risk but I have seen people do this in Mexico
Most companies dont let their SDRs work fully remote, its work from home but in your country only. How do you get around that? I am currently applying for SDR jobs but ultimately want to travel at the same time.
Harder to get away with fully remote to start career, but still possible. Even tougher to get away with the traveling nomad lifestyle early in career. Become so valuable, you can get away with it
@@TrentDressel @TrentDressel 1 hour ago "Harder to get away with fully remote to start career". - is that really true? One of the main appeals of the SDR gig is that so many of them are fully remote. My first two tech sales jobs were both fully remote SDR jobs. Maybe it's changed since then, but I was under the impression one of the main appeals of going into Tech sales is the fact that so many of the entry level positions, meaning the SDR and BDR gig, were fully remote jobs.
@@witnesstothestupid most of them are remote but the challenge is that it's harder to learn early on fully remote. not the worst thing to go into an office and learn from great reps in person
