Hello, I'm Thai, I watched your clip and would like to recommend to you. Travel to Chanthaburi Province ,There are many things that foreign tourists have never been to or seen ,Waterfront communities ,Beautiful beaches ,Exotic views ,It's like going back 10-20 years of Thailand ,If you want to experience the shattering Unlike the tourist attractions that tourists know and travel to, Chanthaburi has a very interesting charm that wants you to see with your own eyes, have fun traveling in Thailand.
So nice to see Chiang Mai again: had a great 2 weeks there back in 2015... ahhh I'm so excited to hopefully travel again this year after so long stuck at home. Hope you're still having an amazing trip ❤️
I lived in Thailand for about a year and a half. Your videos are making me so happy but so jealous. I miss Thailand, the food and my thai family so much!
The Thailand series really bring the nostalgia! I’ve been in Thailand several times before covid and I’m dying to go back one day. Until then I love love love watching your videos! 🙌🏼
Wow! That 'hostel' room was amazing. Thai hotels really the best for value I've ever seen. The fact that they class that amazing room as a hostel says it all.
This was so nostalgic for me to watch - Thailand was my last trip abroad before the world shut down in 2020. Chiang Mai was a place I had initially only planned to stay for a few days and ended up staying for a few weeks. It grew so quickly on me and I still feel such a pull towards it and its people. Enjoy your time there!
LOVE Chaing Mai!! I miss it so much. thanks for the reminder of how fantastic it is. We also did the hike through the mountain tour that you are doing. It is a LONG hike, but the experience is something you will never forget. If you haven't left yet , enjoy the hot springs because that hike up the mountain took at least 6 hours. But worth it!
I miss Chiang Mai so much. I've lived there a total of over 12 months in three segments over the past 7 years. One of my favorite cities in the world. You certainly hit most of the best landmarks. Just one tip is nearly all the "h" letters in Thailand are silent. :)
Aww I can not wait to get back to Thailand as it has been many years. Yes, the sitting buddua statues at 6:13 looked very real. Safe travels to you both.
Ahh this is bringing back so many good memories! So sad to see how quiet it is, hopefully now that it's back open with this test and go program more people will start visiting again!
Loved this vlog! It's so sad that the night market is so empty, hopefully tourists will find their way back to Thailand and Chiang Mai soon. Otherwise it looks lovely! The temple in the mountains looks amazing. I really thought the monks in the temple were real people, those are some well made statues 😂
If it's not on your list yet, I highly recommend traveling north up to Pai. It's a bit of a small town but it' so beautiful out there and everyone in the town is so amazing. There's a ton of outdoor activites to do as well. Best of luck on journey, safe travels :)
I love seeing all the delicious foods you eat around the world. I want to thank you for not being vegan! LOL. I follow a lot of travel vloggers and most of them are vegans sadly. I travel a lot too and I am a huge foodie. I was in Thailand a few years ago and did the night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai - loved it. I snuck a bottle of wine on with me - made the night even more fun! There were several (male) Brits in the same car with me and we all had quite the evening bc they brought beers. Good times. Anyway, love this vid of CM. Thanks for posting.
Nice room at the hostel. I like the cribs type intro as well. I see you found another use for that beer pong table too! Thailand looks very intriguing and beautiful, looking forward to more!
Crazy that scooter rental is around the same as your SIM card with data for a month. Mind is blown! Loved the commentary of your camera being distracted (by the cat) when you were washing the mud off - there was a definite out loud laugh from me! 🤣👍
I've been to Doi Suthep, it is amazing. It looks like they were celebrating Chinese New Year! The temples are amazing, thanks for showing us. It is eery to see CM that dead, especially at the night market. Have a great time!
It probably didn’t work out with your schedule but in mid January, there is an umbrella festival in BoSang, midway between Chiangmai and San Kamphaine. I’m really enjoying your videos
Great series again 👍 at those prices you will be able to stay for 2 months 🤣 that hostel looks better than most Thai hotels I’ve stayed in. Love it………….Thailand that is 😜
enjoy your trip guysss !!! if you wanna rent a scooter go to bamboo bike. they were super super friendly, highly recommended and get warm clothing went going up doi inthanon 😅
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 i’m so glad to see you like my country 💖 i recommend you to eat Rice noodles in fish curry sauce with vegetables (Kanom Jeen Nam Ya) and Grilled pork with sticky rice and Papaya Salad (Som tum) with grilled chicken and sticky rice. They’re very delicious😋
You've bumped into Chinese New Year's Dragon Dance. And this time of the year, that's their winter season, not cold but the best time of the year in South East Asia for traveling. Take care, have fun, and be wild. And Happy 40th Birthday to Jeremy, by the way. Just kidding 😛 💕💑💕
@@BackpackingBananas Just started. Chinese celebrate their New Year for at least 7days, and Thailand got heaps of them. Year of Tiger. Thanks for sharing by the way. Take care and have fun!!! 💑
Wow! That mall in chang mai! It must be so diff frm when i was there 20yrs ago, I don’t remem a city like that! Curious why you don’t show what your bf orders for meals? Nice to see diff options!
The prices of accomodation is very cheap over there at the moment. You can rent a small apartment for £120-£200 per month. But then you are tied to one place for a month.
@@BackpackingBananas Very true. The apartments would easily be double that price normally and be a minimum 6-12 months rental agreement but they are desperate to rent apartments due to the vastly reduced numbers of tourist's at present.
@@BackpackingBananas its really hurting the locals that depend on tourism. I live in a tourism town and its been impacted here. Can only imagine abroad. Safe travels
This brings lots if good memories. I stayed in the same hostel and it was amazing. By the way was there any requirements for the scooter rental? Thanks
Hello Johnny! In this video, all the audio is from the camera’s built in mic (I was using the DJI pocket 2) but I do have a wireless mic for it which I very occasionally use but I find the built-in one is amazing for on the go!
I've loved watching your videos! My husband and I are going to Thailand in 3 weeks for our honey moon and I'm making sure to get some tips from your videos. One question, did you have to have a license to drive that scooter?
No, they do not check for a license for renting/driving the scooters. Many insurance companies will say you need an international license in order to be covered though
Great video! Just wondering why you guys chose to stay in hostels and not AirBnBs? I've been looking for myself and my boyfriend and it was cheaper by £10 a night to stay in an AirBnB!
Love watching your travel videos, they give me inspiration to travel again!! Where did you get your black backless crop top?! You said it was on freepeople ? I can’t find the name of it!! It looks great on you girl 😍

Yep! Not in every hostel but there are definitely a few backpackers knocking about!
