I find this interesting to experience. I'm from Chile. Where I live we experience a slight reduction of sunlight during autumn and winter. At around 5:30 it starts getting dark, but actually, if we used our correct time zone we would start experiencing sunset at around 4:30 to 5:00.
There is a significant difference between North and South Sweden. In the very north, in winter, the sun never goes above horizon. In the south, its up for 7 hours on the darkest day.
OMG I cant believe how dark it is for the entire day... is it like this for months!??! I live in an island in southeast asia near the beach and I cannot survive this at all HAHA. But I would travel there just to experience it HAHAH. Looks like a winter wonderland though!
Hi! Thank you for your comment. The weather remains like this between November to January. The day duration is around 2-4 hours. I would love to travel to a warmer place. 🥰
@@sanavlogsweden6287 I'm the opposite. Im kind of craving somewhere colder and snowy HAHAHA. Hopefully we canboth travel to our dream destinations soon!
It doesn't look that dark to me!? I live in the south of Sweden and while the sun is above the horizon longer we normally don't have much snow. That brightens up things quite a lot!
Hi! This video is from north of Sweden, specifically from Piteå. The sun is only up for a few hours during the day and many days it barely shows up. But the snow reflects light and therefore it doesn’t feel as dark☺️
Hey! You get used to it, and the day just becomes shorter. People don’t either have time to think like that, there is work everywhere in the winters, especially showing the snow. The snow also reflects so it doesn’t get so dark. There are also so many Christmas decorations and lights so you feel very cozy. The summer here is the opposite, it never gets dark. We have something called midnightsun which means that the sun shines for 23 hours in the day.😊🥰
I may be odd but I like cold and gloomy days, late night and early mornings so this is like a dream for me
Same
Very nice video. I'm Brazilian. I don't think I can put up with this. It scared me a lot how dark it was at 3h45 pm.
Looks absolutely beautiful!
As a South African it's difficult to even imagine dark, long winters like that.
