I didn't know lol I just knew the ole commercial with him and Bo Jackson lol who ended Boz's career breaking a tackle (benched). Shame a routine tackle made an injury ending Bo's career too. Just glad these guys are doing better, don't seem to have CTE, and haven't gone off the deep end like Aaron Hernandez or to a lighter NBA extent, Delonte West.
Speaking of NBA, Kwame Brown got back at Stephen A. Smith with vids as the man hassled him for a decade even after Kwame was done playing.
I do feel these sports are watered down sideshows, with Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark mania being a cultural barrier of entry. I am glad for the quieter stuff like gymnastics, golf, Olympics baseball/mixed curling, and figure/speed skating. Even horse racing is a nice little escape as I don't have to be subjected to storylines and tedious GOAT conversations. Track and field is wholesome too, though I'm tired of the male and female comparisons. Glad Usain Bolt was there, and learning about women's hammer/javelin throw can be nice.
Just wish social media didn't poorly edit some of it and golf for how far they went. They're weaker than men but it's stupid not to record their efforts (but then the media circus does that whenever Caitlin Clark has a bad game/season, let alone no washington mystics winless criticism).
Still glad for good vids like this and comments and whoever liked my long story as we do have alternatives rather than overpay (same with sports games like super mega baseball and mlb the show on xbox game pass).

I'm sick and tired of the first black this, the only white to ever do that, the first Hispanic this, the first Asian that, no European has ever done this, first African to win the blah blah blah, sick of it. Why can't we just recognize the person and their success as just that, success in that moment. I get it, trust me, but when are we just going to say, "he's/she's accomplished and just set a record or whatever". Caitlyn Clark is a phenomenal basketball player, but they were saying, " first woman to ever do this, first woman to ever do that". Again, I get it, but it drives my nuts. Why does race/gender have to be tied to it? I certainly understand why that was necessary in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's etc but 2024 we're STILL doing this?
