You are truly living the American dream having a piece of this great land and doing what you want , when you want, and how you want ! Great videos keep them coming ! Thanks
Mike, I gotta say, that by this point (and even SOONER) you have become a total MASTER, at the multiple camera angle viewpoint. THAT, in itself, is what makes your vids SOOOOOO interesting!
Lol I just said to my husband- He is wearing the same shirt...and then you said the same!!! Really enjoying watching your videos- say HI to Hunter- he is wonderful!
Mike, my name is Mark Grassl. My wife Vicki and I live near Rush City MN on forty seven acres. We are about fifty miles north of MPLS-Saint Paul. We are about 2.5 miles from the WI border. Half woods, half hay field. My equipment issues are different because i have to be able to put up hay. I have a 108 HP case tractor . I traded in an L4400 Kubota that I miss dearly. The Case has a 5500 LB. loader and weights about 12000 lbs. Its to big and marks way to much if it's wet. Our soil is very fertile but is all clay---very difficult to work with. When it's wet you have to stay off it and when it's dry it's like concrete. I have been watching your road building and driveway fixing closely because I have two pieces of road/trail that need repair. I am mostly interested in sawmils, but I love what you are doing with your channel. I started at the beginning trying to catch up. We have had a couple of serious financial set backs so thing have to wait til we can afford them. We are both 64 years old and we can't say at least we have our health. I still work full time and I can't say I love my job. I like what I do but the circumstances at work are as bad as I have ever had it. I run the repair shop for a large super-regional trucking company. No Rural King Stores here. Those RK tractors look like Yanmar brand and there is a dealer not far. I may comment once in a while but I hardly ever disagree with anything you say or do. Except the fire wood stacking. We are rank amatuers and not looking to improve on it. Keep it up. mrg
I would suggest and endless supply of long and short sleeved t-shirts, with the Outdoors With The Morgan’s logo...get like two colors....the Boss will never know how many days you “really” wear a shirt 🧐😂👍😎
Mike, Funny you mention the shirt, i was going to mention on Part 1 about ''the nice shirt'', lol. Great video's really enjoy them, thanks for taking the time.
Mike, you make it look easy! I’ve been really enjoying your channel for the last couple of months - in fact, I think I’m one of your target audiences! My wife and I just moved out of DC and onto a large piece of property in rural northern Virginia. Absolutely love it! The property has been neglected for a decade and we’re interested in developing trails all around the ~100 acres. It’s pretty steep in a lot of areas though. Not sure if a tractor is the right tool or not. We’d really like to only buy one piece of heavy equipment. Renting, like you did, is an intriguing idea. Anyway, thanks for all the great videos and can’t wait to see the finished trail!! Thanks.
One thing I always like to do when I make my trails for my hunt club is to make them accessible enough for a vehicle to get in and out of if absolutely necessary. You never know when someone may need an ambulance and you have to carry them out of the woods or a fire truck may need to head down in there to suppress a fire.
The wedding and parking setup opens up the job for a teen to do rides between the event and the parking lots for like $5 a person if they can get access to a golf cart. A sign at each lot with a number to text to call for a pickup and they could make a ton of money off those that don't want to walk.
Mike, I would have never noticed until you mentioned the shirt! I think the shirt brings out your personality, it tells me who you are. Who cares what shirt you are wearing, you are not doing a fashion show.
Saw you posted this one a while ago but just got to watch it now. Been busy myself today running skidsteer and dump truck today cleaning up some rock piles and stumps. Trail looking good👍👍
Hey Mike and Melissa, The trail is looking good. Once you get to 100K subscribers, which I still can't believe that it hasn't happened yet. You guys can talk about hiring someone to work in the wardrobe department. 😂😂😂 Take care my friends and have a safe and wonderful weekend. May God Bless you both and your families. 🤠🚜🇺🇸
When I was in grade school, back in the ‘50s, we had a classmate that only had one good school shirt. If it got really dirty by Wednesday his mom would turn it inside out so he could wear it ‘till Friday. He had 7 brothers and sisters and his dad was a section hand for the railroad, I think they call it “maintenance of the way” nowadays.
Hey Mike get 10 T shirts that have big numbers on them. That way we can tell that you change yours clothes. Your wife is funny, Love the the videos. Ron
Last fall when you rented that same machine video #61 you had the same shirt on LOL!! Hey I am not laughing at you I am laughing with you. I get it my wife of 35 years would go in orbit. Good luck keep the good videos coming it is nice to know that I can let my grandson watch you and not worry about what he is watching.
I really wanted to thumbs up this video but since you're wearing the same shirt it just makes me feel like I should not thumb it up...oh well what the heck..👍👍👍👍Trail is looking great!👍
Awesome videos Mike. However I think you really missed the boat on this project. You could of had Joe from Kapper Outdoors bring his rig down. He could of started at one end and you guys could of met in the middle, I’m sure his side would of had three watering holes and micro food plots along the way though. Heck he could of even brought you one of his Kapper Outdoors T shirts too. Lol just teasing bud, looking forward to the finished trail
Mike, Its nice to be able to rent the big toys. Quick question: Have you had the need to screen any of your topsoil? If you have what did you use? It looks like the topsoil you have been working has been fairly void of rocks (lucky you). Things are looking really nice.
great job on the videos mike. love your channel and all the content you put up. Would love to see some more firearms videos if you have some target practice coming up soon for hunting season or maybe a top 5 favourite guns interested to see what you like
Hi Mike, to be honest I have never even noticed what shirt you’re wearing until you mentioned it. I think we all watch for the info not the fashion, maybe next time you should wear an NRA shirt... wouldn’t that be a hoot. 👌
Enjoy your videos! We are just buying 55 acres of all woods with a pond at the back. The ground/woods looks just like what you are clearing in this video maybe ours is a little more thick with small trees and brush but pretty much the same.We want to make a path to the back for driving to the backside and that would be around 2200 feet back.I have used a backhoe many times where we live now but I like the excavator you are using. It has some advantages ,you can swing around real fast,it has the blade and the thumb bucket and you can pick up debris and smooth the dirt at the same time.I was thinking of just pushing my stuff with the backhoe and, ect. What would you recommend, the excavator you have there or a backhoe?Guess it depends on the operator and their experience.I will use whatever I rent for a week just want to make sure I get my dollars worth while I have it.thanks
Great video series! What did you do with the trees you pushed over? Did you later go back and deal with them, or just push them to the side and let them decay over time?
Hi Mr. Morgan. Quick question: Would it be better to level flat paths or do you need them to slope? It may seem like a dumb question but I have never done this before; I am wanting to put trails in here. That's why I ask. Thank you and thank you for the great videos. I am learning
I like making the with just a little slope side to side, not too much that you would slide off, but enough for water to run off and not puddle and saturate the trail. Make sense?
Outdoors With The Morgans yes it does makes sense. My perimeter trail.. I'm wanting to make it at 10 feet wide, if possible. Reason. Easy access, safety, and security. With truck or Ambulance. I'm always thinking safety
hi mike...your lucky to afford the equipment to do the work on your property we barley afford the taxes and property payments on our 167 acers what is the average cost to rent a e50 from bobcat?
Mike, when you say the trail is steep in part 1 how steep are you talking? We have a 37 degree slope where I need to install a trail, not sure how steep I can go and not suffer from too much erosion.
On your shirts:I wear bib overalls 7 days a week. About the only thing that changes is the color of the "T" shirt and bandana. When i set up my corporate web-site I included a pic of me in my bib overalls and now when customers come by the expect me to be wearing them. For some reason people get tickled about me in them. I just like the utility of them and the loads of functional pockets.Every couple of years(usually for jury duty) I'll dust off my corporate casual clothes and wife says I look sooooo handsome(a hint I suppose) and all I think is I need more pockets.
Hey Mike, sorry if I missed it somewhere, but I'm curious to know how you decided where to lay the path between houses? Did you decided based on terrain, trees, views, drainage, the most direct path, etc? Would like to maybe see it discussed in a video. Thank you sir!
Sorry Melissa it must be a Venus and Mars thing. If Mike hadn't mentioned it I would not have noticed. All my work shirts are blue. Even I can't screw that up.
I finally got out of my wife, after years of the same business over shirts, the reason. She felt it reflected on her and how she was holding down the home front while I was at work and how she was taking care of me and the kids. After that, I let her pick out my shirts and quit worrying about it.
i will call around for rentals when my next rescue passes away. last one was a sweet heart, mini horse, some a-hole kicked her in the head and her one eye was gone. hope he rots very soon.
Do the people that make the music pay you to play it? Not hating on you at all, just sometimes I'd rather here the music of the machine chugging along doing it's thing. You could make a fortune selling some of that top soil!! Talk about beautiful!
I have never ever once in 200 videos noticed what you were wearing.Couldn't care less if you wear the same stuff for a week! Watching your content not your clothes.
You’re pretty good at running that mini ex! Enjoy all of your videos Mike, I’m trying to get my channel going and establish a following, how do you find all the music for your videos? Thanks and take care
Mike I am IMPRESSED with your skill and dexterity at which you manipulate that bob cat to clear the trail.
You are truly living the American dream having a piece of this great land and doing what you want , when you want, and how you want ! Great videos keep them coming ! Thanks
Enjoying tractor time with in these videos. The one using the RK 24 and the horseshoe pits showed me more of why I'm really looking into getting one.
ENJOY EVERYTHING THANK YOU AN THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME ALONG TELL HUNTER HELLO
Good work and it look likes you have very nice soil to work with
Thanks for keeping us updated on the shirt ‘issue’!!!
Mike, you make it look too easy! Thanks for taking the time to set up the cameras, etc... so you can share this. I’d buy a Shirt with the Morgan Logo.
Turn on the lights and lets work until midnight!
Fun video!

Like the video Mike ,love to see you work with the mini exc, .
I thought the problem was that you forgot to celebrate your 200th video!! Keep it up Mike! You inspire me so much.
I'm learning alot from your trail building...PLUS...2 videos in one day 😊
As for the shirts...i never notice...checkered or plaid...
Thanks again!
If you made a 45 min.vid on making trails, ya wouldn't get a complaint from me! Nice work!
Nice one Mike. Enjoy watching the trail project. Kapper
Always enjoy watching.
Smooth. Love it when a man masters the machine. Good job.
Your skills behind that Excavator are impressive! Enjoying the vids.
I would suggest and endless supply of long and short sleeved t-shirts, with the Outdoors With The Morgan’s logo...get like two colors....the Boss will never know how many days you “really” wear a shirt 🧐😂👍😎
All he has to do is buy 2 or 3 of the same shirts. If he is always in a blue button up we will never know if it's the same shirt or not.
The man with the plan...like how you estimate the time it takes
Good work on the video Mike, looking good and enjoying the videos. Thanks again.
Nice Job Mike. Keep up the good work!
Good stuff enjoyed that, and yes there is all ways a concern about the double shirt!!!
Mike, Funny you mention the shirt, i was going to mention on Part 1 about ''the nice shirt'', lol. Great video's really enjoy them, thanks for taking the time.
one reason i like your vids -- looks like you know how to opperate equip -- i am a life long farmer
Mike, you make it look easy! I’ve been really enjoying your channel for the last couple of months - in fact, I think I’m one of your target audiences! got a great idea, take a week vacation from normal job and post 2 vids a day of road building and firewood cutting lol...great video as always
I like the way you think
One thing I always like to do when I make my trails for my hunt club is to make them accessible enough for a vehicle to get in and out of if absolutely necessary. Nice surprise getting the mini early. You got a lot done with just an afternoon.
Kind of like Al from "Home Improvement". Same design just different colored plaid. Love your stuff!
Yes! perfect timing! Just finished part one!
Trail looking good👍👍
You are going to have to name all your trails and make trail signs!
Kinda Looks Like Your Making Short Work of that project!! 👍👊
Hey Mike and Melissa,
The trail is looking good. Once you get to 100K subscribers, which I still can't believe that it hasn't happened yet. You guys can talk about hiring someone to work in the wardrobe department. 😂😂😂
Take care my friends and have a safe and wonderful weekend. May God Bless you both and your families. 🤠🚜🇺🇸
You can buy 15 of the same shirt and not have a the problem great job on the trail
Trail is looking good...

Mike, I like the “outdoors with the Morgan’s” T-shirt. I’d like to pre-order one. Great video
Hey Mike get 10 T shirts that have big numbers on them. That way we can tell that you change yours clothes. Your wife is funny, Love the the videos. Ron
I love this guy, he’s a real one🤙🏼
Like mini work can't wait to get on mine more! #WorldsOkayestFarmer
Thanks! Thats the goal here, family friendly
Great stuff!!
Mike, I haven't noticed you making any turn-outs or wide spots. I like to keep lots of options open when I'm pulling my little trailer.
Love you both
Mike, I think you should wear the same shirt for every video. Buy 10 of them and off you go. Cheers from eastern Pa.
Good on ya Mike you always look like your enjoying yourself its never work when its like that.
Heck he could of even brought you one of his Kapper Outdoors T shirts too. Lol just teasing bud, looking forward to the finished trail
I think if Kapper was closer we would already be doing those kinds of things lol
He does a great job I'm in calif and I enjoy his vidieos!!
Enjoying videos. What are your thoughts on trail dimensions and why, e.g., width, degrees of elevation, height of tree branches alongside trail?
Mike, Its nice to be able to rent the big toys. Quick question: Have you had the need to screen any of your topsoil? If you have what did you use? It looks like the topsoil you have been working has been fairly void of rocks (lucky you). Things are looking really nice.
Amazing how much easier things go with the right tool. Curious to know how machine hours you can run before you need to refill the tank.
great job on the videos mike. love your channel and all the content you put up. Would love to see some more firearms videos if you have some target practice coming up soon for hunting season or maybe a top 5 favourite guns interested to see what you like
Check out the shooting bench in next video
great shirt ! ;-)
Love the shirt
Love your videos MIKE
Thanks! Where you from?
Hi Mike, to be honest I have never even noticed what shirt you’re wearing until you mentioned it. I think we all watch for the info not the fashion, maybe next time you should wear an NRA shirt... wouldn’t that be a hoot. 👌
I see some high speed UTV trails too! Dual use! Any snowmobiles?
Looks to me like your viewers don't have a problem with your shirts being in consecutive videos. Keep up the great video's :-)
Mike, a Firewood question: What are your favorite tree varieties that give the most pleasing, or best smelling, firewood smoke?
That’s hilarious, the shirt was the first thing I noticed before you even said that! Darn it Melissa!
🤣
when you're done there, i'm going to need you to come down to wv to do some more trail work haha.
Great video series! What did you do with the trees you pushed over? Did you later go back and deal with them, or just push them to the side and let them decay over time?
I think Mike is angling for a clothing line... who will it be? Carhartt, Duluth, or Dickies? Time may tell
Robert Cline , I think he's going for Columbia
Love me some Duluth!!
MooMan86 I'm thinking Garanimals like we had in the '70's, that way they match and he doesn't have to decide what to wear
Hi Mr. Morgan. Quick question: Would it be better to level flat paths or do you need them to slope? It may seem like a dumb question but I have never done this before; I am wanting to put trails in here. That's why I ask. Thank you and thank you for the great videos. I am learning

hi mike...your lucky to afford the equipment to do the work on your property we barley afford the taxes and property payments on our 167 acers what is the average cost to rent a e50 from bobcat?
Could you use a skid steer to do the same job? Novice here trying to learn. Thanks
Mike, when you say the trail is steep in part 1 how steep are you talking? We have a 37 degree slope where I need to install a trail, not sure how steep I can go and not suffer from too much erosion.
Watch video #114, I went over that section of trail there
Good job Mike nice trail! Who cares about the shirt?
On your shirts:I wear bib overalls 7 days a week. Will do
How is the Bee situation there? In Southern Oregon ground nests are everywhere
Not bad around here
Mike, nice shirt, but failed to notice same shirt in consecutive videos, sorry Melissa!
Sorry Melissa it must be a Venus and Mars thing. If Mike hadn't mentioned it I would not have noticed. All my work shirts are blue. Even I can't screw that up.
trails coming together
I finally got out of my wife, after years of the same business over shirts, the reason. She felt it reflected on her and how she was holding down the home front while I was at work and how she was taking care of me and the kids. After that, I let her pick out my shirts and quit worrying about it.
New 👕 SHIRT SPONSOR ... coming soon!
I think I'm going to get my own, a logo on it and get like 10 of them and wear them all the time
Outdoors With The Morgans - great merchandising idea. Market your brand. 👍👍
Nice shirt mike lol
CAN YOU TAKE A SMALL TREE AND TRANSPLANT IT ELSEWHERE?? THOSE THAT ARE IN YOUR WAY??
i will call around for rentals when my next rescue passes away. last one was a sweet heart, mini horse, some a-hole kicked her in the head and her one eye was gone. hope he rots very soon.
Do the people that make the music pay you to play it? Not hating on you at all, just sometimes I'd rather here the music of the machine chugging along doing it's thing. You could make a fortune selling some of that top soil!! Talk about beautiful!
I have said this before, but Mike I don't care what shirt you wear, just a as long as you are not naked :D
Epidemic Sound
Outdoors With The Morgans looks like I gotta pay $15 a month to use that?
How many acres do you have altogether?
When such beautiful things can be made from these species, doesn’t it seem to be wasteful to end up in a firewood stack?
Barry Conklin - Mike did a video about this very subject last fall - check out videos #94 & #96 - What’s this tree worth?
Robert Cline thanks,I viewed those, very informative
Pretty sure the majority of the viewers are guys, so we don't care what shirt your wearing. Just so long as you wear one!! :)
You know Bobcats run better with a fresh shirt........Replace shirt every 500 hours.
Mike, Where do you get your shirts?
The shirt must be a wife thing. Lol. Good job.
You could use it as an excuse to buy more shirts. Then use that as an excuse to build a bigger closet. Just joking.
Love your videos by the way.
Dude! Change your shirt.
It don't matter if you wear your shirt 5 days not to me.
Brother, I don’t want to be rude but I never notice another man’s shirts. A woman’s? Yes. But never a mans. Please forgive me.
WIFE WANTS HUSBAND TO LOOK GOOD. DIFFERENT SHIRT DIFFERENT SHOWS. SHE CARES.
