For those of us who have the fabi & now want to use independant die cuts, can we just buy the bigshot multi purpose platform and use it with the fabi? Thankyou. You showed the fabi dies in both, but not the bigshot platform used with both, so i just wanted to check before spending money :)

Recommend the Big Shot because it comes with the multi-purpose platform, which would give you the capability to use wafer-thin dies, which cut fabric, albeit one layer at a time. You're then ready for a special project. My price comparisons most often show the Big Shot at a lower price than the Fabi.

I bought the Sidekick yesterday at HobbyLobby and it is not very wide, should have read more, it is not wide enough for the Go die for a 5 Inch sq. Die to fit, about only 1/8 inch to small, Fabi or Big Shot, which one would be better for cutting material, wanted to buy a Sizzix because they claim to be able to use other dies instead of the GO Baby
The most recent information we have from Sizzix would give you a "yes" answer. I would double check with them directly before making the investment in the multi-purpose platform. Thanks!
if i ever need a new one i will keep my platfrom and go for the black one, cos i really can;t stand the teal/minty colour and almost went to an evolution one, but then came acrss a second hand bigshot in black and blue..phew, thanks for the vid i didný think there was a difference cos of the pic i've seen of it, but i didn't know i doesn't come with the platform

All of these machines are identical and use the same plates and dies. The Big Kick machine is sold in big stores, e.g., Michaels, and can usually be purchased with their discount coupon. The different Sizzix machines vary in color, but they are the same. D-lites die , impression, nestabilites ,framelits,impression,embossabilitie Tim holtz die cut line and his adapter plate, the shaper and mover L/XL die cut, texture folder,Impression, framelits, impression, embossing folder, bigz l-die , bigz xl die cut, and idea-ology die cut,on the edge die cut, shadow press, texture trade. i am wondering why the machine itself cost sooo much. after all once you have it, you have it. you make your money off the dies. i would like to have one but i cannot afford the big price tag to begin with. put them on sale so more people can afford them. '' just saying''
