Hi Dylan, thanks for watching. You can either use the back of you right hand to mute the low sounding E string or focus on not moving you right hand so much, which will alow you to zero in on the A, D and G strings. If you move you wrist more than you arm, that will help. Hope that makes sense - good luck with the tune. Hi Hayden, can't remember exactly. I'd guess I'm probably going into Fender deluxe reverb. In general tend to have it flat, both treble and bass around 5. Bridge pickup (single coil). On my teaching board I use a caline orange burst, so it could be that. Any kind of overdrive pedal will give you a sound in the right direction. The key I guess with all great guitar sounds is good guitar -> tube amp. Hope that helps.

How do you mute the top string in the a chord part in the beginning
