I like peugeot 404pickups I wish I would see more running.

what starter motor are you using? i noticed yours sounds different and starts fast
Engine and gearbox are from a 504 XD2. Original starter was shot so a new one was supplied by the owner. No idea what brand it was.
You can use the one for 504 it has 4 brushes
