holy shit thank you idk why manufacturers slap annoying, impossibly adhesive stickers onto their otherwise really nice and sleek products. this helped me remove them. took me 2 hours of scraping to get the sticker off with leftover residue, the WD-40 got rid of the residue almost instantly.
My goo-scraping fingers thank you! Everyone needs to know this. I have been using Goof Off. It says on the label, "Works the first time!" Never has it ever worked the first time for me. I usually spray it on multiple times and scrape, scrape, scrape. Very time consuming, tedious and frustrating. I watched this video and did what you said - it works like a charm. I had two salad dressing bottles that I've been working on for two days, trying to get the sticker and goo off. It took two sprays, but WD-40 had the goo off in five minutes. This information should be on billboards nationwide! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Bless you for sharing this!
WD-40 removed 95%, the rest was done by Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner which is even better. I guess break cleaner would do a perfect job as well. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome. I wonder if this will work on my taillights that I recently taped up and has residue from a paint job I did and left them on not acknowledging the residue it would leave. Will try in the morning
I say yes, but recommend trying it on inconspicuous area. What will most likely happen is residue will allow dust together for at least a couple of car washes.
...For a natural, chemical-free alternative, use peanut butter. Can be wiped on in a thin coat, let sit for a while (if you can wait, overnight is best) and then wipe it off. I just wash it with a sponge using a little Dawn degreaser/soap.
I know what you’re talking about but I don’t know if it will. If anything, it might need to be soaked for a few minutes. that is some super sticky stuff. Good possibility it will work.
This is the TRUTH 100%. I just watch 5 videos tried 3 of them with no results, then watch this video read the reply to the one comment and remember I do have wd-40 😂 and yes it work thanks so much
Wow! And here I have WD-40 under my sink like probably 99.9% of everyone else who has watched this awesome video! Thank you because it is frustrating especially when a sticker gets put on the front of an item rather than the back where common sense would say….buuut no lol😂😂🤪😇😇
I got the WD-40 out immediately sprayed it on the adhesive that was left after I took off the label. Sorry I don’t have a picture of the adhesive. I had already tried a bunch of stuff, but didn’t work. This worked like a charm! I did not even have to rub. I simply wiped it off. I don’t know if it was because of the substrate or Because it just works so great but either one I don’t care because now I don’t have to try to cover it up. It’s going to be a gift didn’t want to do that. So let me figure out how to put photos on here so you can see. Well, I can’t figure out how to post to photos so you’ll just have to take my word for it!🙃🙃😇
Ironic that I found this video because I am trying to remove the tag from a WD-40 can
thats how they get you to buy another
Spray yourself, then rub yourself with the can. Rub one out while doing this.
@@audr1enlivethe work of the matrix😢
@@audr1enlive lmao
😂😂😂😂
WD-40 and duct tape are the only essential items one needs to fix anything.
Zip ties! Don’t forget Zip ties 🤣

Economics of crude material supplier, the cheaper choice
Just tried it. Worked perfectly thanks.
This helped a lot, thank you. This also works on a cardboard surface.

Yes, it does get duct tape off and gorilla tape off. This stuff is amazing.
Insect repellent (with Deet) will give it a nice shine!
Does this work on car surface. No damage to the paint?

was taking the warning stickers off my can am and tried and it this worked beautifully, thanks!!!!
TY!!!!!!
Can i use on car dashboard and door pads to remove gum residue?
It should work, but the problem is that it will collect dust where you spray it if you don’t wipe it off really good.
Beauty!!
I will try. Thank you!

Will this work with a 3M adhesive name tag on a doorbell? It’s super attached

What spray is it??
WD40
WD-40 with a plastic hotel key card worked like a charm to remove a car towing notice stuck on a windshield 👍🏽
Do you think this will work on my dashboard with out harming the leather ?
I would use a Q-tip size spot on an inconspicuous area to test it first I’ve never used it on leather.
Thanks!
Cool job 😅
Thank you, works great!

When he says to let it sit there for a minute is it an actual minute or just a short amount of time?

brilliant! thank you
Cheers helped
Thanks
If we have any problem in life just use wd40👍
I can't believe this actually worked. Used it to get a huge annoying sticker off the oven door.
Baby oil also works
Nice thank you for the tip. I will give that a try.
WD40 is almost as universal as duck tape!
WD-50 is every man’s dream 😂
I cover in peanut butter for 24 hours. No bad smells.
.
.
wd40 > lotion
Lol, keep your head on a swivel
Paint thinner
thanks id rather not use baking soda
Now serve your food
That would be silly serving food in a planter water tray
Why couldn’t you just use goo off 😂
For one I can’t stand the smell of goof off and two WD-40 isn’t as harsh as goof off. Oh and three everybody has WD-40. 🤔
Damages paint
@@davidgantz2😂😂 Yup
goo off damage the plastic drying hard so that you get a hard blur plastic after
@@englap8146 but leaves that bad smell
Just use cooking oil and cotton for FASTER and CHEAPER option.
