Tarja used to give in-person singing lessons in Buenos Aires, a close friend of mine was her student, and I know a couple of them 'cause they fronted some local bands. My friend had her own vocal teacher, but went to Tarja as a sort of master class. Whenever I asked her (and other students) about how the classes went on and how she is as a teacher, I've always got the same positive answers, that she's really sweet and they learnt a lot of things from her. Of course, Tarja wasn't able to keep a regular schedule for the classes because of the constant touring, but they sometimes got a feedback from her via email as soon as she was able to listen to their recordings while on tour.
I will be watching reactors watching Tarja watching her fans singing her songs 😆. This is so META...almost like the plot of the movie Inception 😆. Thanks for the reaction and requesting, I love this type of reaction. Update: What Tarja warns against is headbanging, because that's how she injured her own neck.
@@Boa_Omega Yes, I know, I saw it. But I'm no longer amused by reactions to the same old NW songs. I'm still looking at them, but I'm rather happy for the NW stuff that not many people have reacted to. And Nemo is probably one of my least favorite Nightwish songs. I know they broke through on the radio with it, but it's too mainstream for me, even though the music video is beautiful.
@@PetraPola Totally understand that. These days i mostly just watch Nightwish reactions when its to older stuff with Tarja. I mean i can for sure still watch 100s of reactions to "Swanheart" and "Walking in the air", they are sooo underrated, but people just do the same Floor stuff again and again because they hope to get more clicks for it.
@@beldin2987 I, on the one hand, understand it. Reaction channels want as many views as possible or react to things people are asking for. On the other hand, some reactors are really stuck in a rut. And I feel like Tarja has been coming to the fore more and more lately, thanks to Metal Church and Dark Christmas and her reunion with Marko. I also still want to request some older Nightwish stuff, mainly Passion and The Opera or lesser known ballads from Century Child.

I think it was really NOT to HEADBANG for Arthur...cause it is not good for your health...specially if you do not know how and where is the limit. One can cause a neck problem easily. Yes...she wants to encourage specially girls to go forward with singing cause most of them followed her example from NW. It was very rare to have a female lead singer in a metal band back in 1996 and she had to learn everything almost alone without examples. We also know that several famous singers later (on top now) nominate Tarja to be their inspiration to the whole genre.
There were a few, but most were just not that well know. More popular ones were maybe Doro Pesch/Warlock and Lee Aaron. Then we had bands like Vixen, Soraya, Witness and Lana Lane was maybe not really metal but she was kinda like a link from Heart to symphonic metal. She was even from the US, but i guess nobody there knew her and she had way more success in Japan actually. Check out maybe "Eschers Staircase" from Lana Lane to understand what i mean.

Thanks for the reaction. It's an old video now, I have seen some of those people posting videos of Tarja commenting on them and these also date back from a while! Many sopranos do covers of Tarja's solo songs, Minor Heaven for example, which is indeed a beautiful song. For anyone who sings in that range, the challenge is irresistible. I love singing her song but no, I would not post a video of it!
Minniva and Salem kicks ass 🤘😊👌 Salem Vocals has also e.g. epic cover of Ghost's "Square Hammer", worth checking out. Andra Ariadna has great voice too covering Nightwish songs. There are other less known great cover singers too singing Nightwish songs. Tarja would have made a great teacher. I heard that in The Voice Finland her guys made it to finals.

Later, she coached TVOF Senior and also won.
