Never thought of interviews as just pretending to be yourself until Marty mentioned it...it really does make sense if you think of it.

One of my favourite quotes by Marty, is, when asked bt an American interviewer whether he's like an award, he fired back, " awards are like haemorrhoids, eventually every arsehole gets one". Sorely missed man.

The interviewer that asked him that question was, like the interviewer here, Canadian.

This brief interview just scratches the surface yet some very profound things were unearthed.

Anyone catch the ending? He got soooooo Real!!
He felt cut off and when he was told they were out of time
He was like, “oh the director! those are the guys who screw us all the time”
And all the interviewer can do is awkwardly say, “ Sorry”😂
It’s amazing how easy it is to not catch little things like that but he actually was a lot sharper than he appeared
I can tell he didn’t feel heard entirely

      Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by Gods grace are we saved through faith; not by works, ( or being a fire fighter or law enforcement or a hero or a veteran or actor or a soul singer or being a broad way star or making people laugh, or making people happy or never killing anyone) 9 it is the free gift of God, not that anyone can boast of their salvation." Eternity will not be about any of us or what we have done. It will all be about Jesus Christ who died on a cross to save us from our sins. We all deserve hell.

Haha, Linehan was an odd lookin boy with an odder cadence unlike anyone else from the gritty old Canadian steeltown he grew up in. God bless him, he interviewed everybody for decades proving once again that anyone can become a star in the Great White North.
