I kept all of my stuff in the boxes. Not all of it is McFarlane. Most of them are in plastic totes too. I may as well sell them, they take up a lot of space.

I have that Bane I was lucky enough to find it restocked on Amazon in 2022 for just $40 when I got it. I also have the Comedian Joker it was the very first Joker I got when I started collecting McFarlane DC figures.

I’ve only paid over retail for Wonder Woman, and gold label Supergirl. I had to complete the Justice league and the superfamily. But never again, if I can’t catch a pre order it’s a pass.

I have a few of the older generation ones that have little to no articulation they are basically statues. Some of them can sell decent when I bought them I paid retail. My favorite Spawn that I have is the one where he hanged and shot in the head, another is gunslinger spawn. I have lots of stuff most of it is in totes, all mint in the clamshell box and it’s wasting space so I plan to start selling them soon. It’s a lot of work and a pain in the butt. But I bought all of them retail even on sale.

I see a few of the mint figures that disappeared selling for hundreds and I had some doubles and triples. It makes no sense I think she sold it at a thrift store or something. She was an A-hole and it wouldn’t surprise me.

Honestly, I do have some heavy figures that average out 200+ but imo they should not be worth that much unless that was the original price. It should depend on detail, color, articulation, etc. Let alone I'd say eBay is one of the worst places to look at prices. If I look hard in any other site or in person store and garage sales. I am for sure seeing better prices. And like you said there's plenty of resellers who over value almost everything. Plus these sellers usually buy in bulk and sell them later on the future knowing or guessing it'll strike the price higher. I can tell you this, I've seen at least over 20 + figures that you've shown around my area. And when I ask the store owner why r they usually sold out or low stock, it's usually by the same people (ofc they won't name them). I'd say scarcity isn't really true since they usually make them in the thousands constantly unless the sales are bad. Those mk figures ive seen plenty in Walmart, Ross, malls, GameStop etc. But you do have a couple named that I wouldn't see in person and only online. But trust me, try looking anywhere else but eBay unless you really can't find it anywhere else. EBay is known to be a place of overvalued items
