Matthew thank for making your receipe so simple and easy. I will definitely try to make the Mithai . I love to watch your video. Especially with your grandma. 🇨🇦🇬🇾🙏
These mitai look amazing, Matthew! I like the addition of the cream soda and will try out the recipe soon. Thanks for sharing. I wanted to ask, have you ever heard of putting yeast and baking powder in soft mitai? I was just curious to hear your thoughts, thanks! 😊
Thank you so much for watching. I have always heard about putting baking powder. If you put yeast, it will be more like a bake texture and more fluffy. It wouldn't have that flakey and crumbly texture inside. One day I may need to try it to confirm the texture. Would probably still be a delicious dessert.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 Hi Matthew, thank you so much for letting me know! I was curious about adding yeast to mitai. If it's not too much trouble, it would be great to see if you try it sometime. Your recipes are always amazing, thanks so much for sharing them and for representing Guyanese food in such a positive way. 😊
I have the Trini style rasgulla on my channel already (Indian gulab jamun). I will do the Indian style rasgulla one day. And I will do the dosa recipe soon too.

It is in the description box right below the video 🙏🏼
Hi Matthew, your mithai looks amazing! My question is, what's the reason for using cream soda?
Thank you. It adds a nice texture and taste
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 thank you... I will give it a try 😊
Yummiest
Try using condensed milk n confectioner sugar instead of boiling
I do that sometimes, not the biggest fan
