  • This is just a discussion about how to inspect bolt connections. First English video, again too busy to prepare my videos, I have real work ahead of me.. So, I just make the slides together and comment the pics. So, very sorry for the mistakes. (one that I have noticed at the end.. Even though ASTM B633 is still in effect in some projects, it's new replacement is ASTM F1941,and I sometimes don't put the "F" or letter before the number as I am in the field... Sorry for that.

    how to find bolt length i.e. thread and shank seperately for HSFG bolt dia 24mm and thickness of member 101mm by using table IS 3757-1985???

      Sorry Arun to reply to you so lately.
      I only know the American code “AISC code” for Bolts not the Indian Code.
      However you can go to the AISC website.
      www.AISC.org and get the table for Equivalent SI system and you will get the table or at the end of the AISC 360 book.
