That is logical but not necessarily Spiritual. You make a good point and I’ve thought the same thing, however I’m coming to learn 2 things about that mindset 1: “good” things are not always God’s things. Something can be “for the greater good” according to our own fallible human logic (like persecution or slavery unfortunately some of those peoples minds and hearts were so warped they thought the were doing good and even used the Bible to justify it! Think about Saul and his persecution of the early Christians). 2: Even things that are good and calm may simply not be what God instructed you to do. For example, Cain gave God an offering. Offerings are good right? And non violent (he gave fruits and things from his field as opposed to his brother who gave a sacrifice and sacrificing an animal could be seen as violent.), yet it was not what God asked of him and was therefore rejected. I’m a very logical person and so I completely understand the sentiment, just want to express that even our human logic is foolishness to God and the only way to truly know is to be in intimate and consistent relationship & conversation w/ Him! Then even the things that we would logically think to do, the Holy Spirit can guide us in 😅
God doesn't have a ( will ), for your life... GOD has a purpose for your life..... Our will, will never line up with God's will..... We have to abandon our will, and embrace God's will.....

@@emileharris yes. God's Desires are found throughout HIS WORD with the principles of life that he has given us. His desires were exemplified by the exemplary life Christ led. His desires are in alignment with how we are to treat ourselves and our fellow neighbors alike. His desires for us are found in the statues, laws, and commandments that he gave us. God's Holy Word is a manual on how we are to live our DAILY LIVES. I pray the desires of my heart are no longer filled with selfish glory and are replaced with the desires of his heart. Deny my flesh and submit unto the will of TMH.
I needed this. I was about to stop looking for this homeless lady that I have been searching for every day. I wake up and leave my apartment drive-by where I think she would have been and then before I lay down, I drive by again and see if I see her. I have not seen her in a couple of days and I’ve had been questioning myself whether I should stop looking for her. And hearing this made me realize I need patience because he may be working on other things for her and has put her in a different place and I need to be patient. I have been worried on whether she has eaten and I have also got some money from the church to give her and that’s why I have been looking for her every day.
Yes . I was in a similar situation. Looking for this lady to help and I couldn't find her. So I just told the Lord if it's his will we will cross paths again. Then I got this feeling of what if that was an angel that I spoke to? What if that was just to test me to see if I would do the right thing at that moment for her and her needs. Just pray about it and God bless you for trying to help someone. Sometimes we try and do too much , too quickly and like Cassie said be patient and opportunity will come
I’ve seen her many times in one week. She didn’t seem to need my assistance so I just prayed she’s okay. Crossing paths with her, I ended up crossing paths with a homeless man. Helped him out and prayed for him as well. Didn’t see him for 4-5 weeks and was so worried…. I left church going home one morning, I look over and THERE HE WAS!!! he was in a shelter that helps you fight addiction!!! I was so happy for him and thanks the Lord!
I’m praying for anyone reading this message and I want to thank you if you decide to pray over my life as well. Jesus loves you! Thank you so much for sharing this Cassie. I’ve been having breakthroughs since I’ve surrendered to God, 9/14/23. I ask God to use me as his vessel every morning, I seek his permission with missions & goals I’m pursuing. I only want to fulfill God’s will, I have no purpose without him. I’m 35 and pursuing an entirely different career path and it’s exciting, and sometimes nerve wracking, I put my faith and heart in his hands. I’m praying to break generational curses and for miracles for myself and for my family. I don’t want to live paycheck to paycheck anymore, I want to retire my mother, I want to be a great wife and mother, I want to be a fruitful daughter. I give all the glory to God. My biggest problem right now is smoking, I’ve been trying so so hard to quit, but I know in my spirit that I’m not trying hard enough because I know that GODS WILL is for me to stop smoking right now and I’ve prayed for Him to take the addiction away from me and to take the taste out of my mouth, but I truly believe that GOD wants me to quit smoking on my own without any help from Him and then He may Bless me
It's good that you want to stop smoking, but wanting to do it on your own is not His will. He wants you to lean on Him because your weakness is his strength
I use to be a big weed smoker. I went cold turkey. Fell short. Got back up & fell short again until I built strength to say no for longer amounts of time until I was set free completely from being to weak to say no & draw the line. Basically it was a process. But it’s wise to go cold turkey until you get it right. It shows that you made a decision to quit no matter what vs not putting real effort in. You get what I’m sayin? God bless you you got this 💯🙏🏽

Amen! 🙏🏾 it’s one of the hardest things we Christians can do, is to surrender everything. As disciples we have to drop everything including our plans to follow Him. He will change our passions & desires to match His passions & desires but we have to let that plan go. Surrender. Surrender, pray, discern. We are commanded to deny all of ourselves, not just our flesh. Fair warning though, when you lay everything down, it’s laid down - it’s destroyed. There’s a very real possibility those (sometimes legitimate) desires may never be resurrected. Be prepared for that. My experience is that at age 68, I’m without family. No wife, no children, no career to look back on, nothing but ashes…… That’s what sometimes happens. You need to be prepared for this.
i can't tell if my will to move out of my parent's house is for the sake for achieving my own potential. or if God has placed that will within me to encourage me to change the scenery, and not look back. i needed this
I am 41 and still living with my parents. In order to grow spiritually at some point we will have to leave the nest and It will be hard not to look back. But what God has is so beautiful ❤️ and amazing his plans.
Hi thank you for this video. I'm 31 years old. I am looking for my partner for the last five years. Last year I met a girl who showed interest in me. We pray to God about our future. Genuinely we didn't fall for looks, but only character and dedication to God. When we pray God gave the confirmation through the scripture colossians 3:15, saying let the peace of the lord rules your heart for this you called as one body and Psalms 37:4 saying delight in the lord he will fulfill the desire of your heart. When I personally meditated on the scripture I got the story of restoration of Lazarus and the story of restoration of sunamite women's son. We were together in God, hoping that our family should agree with this. The girls family didn't agree. She fought for me but she couldn't convince her family. She lost her hope this process and got engaged to another guy. Now I am all alone confused the confirmation that God has given us. I don't know what should I do now. Can you please help me to understand. I'm troubled and my faith in understanding scripture is in crisis.

What if I have one foot in and one foot out because God has met me where I am and trying to save/take me out of it? My situation is complicated so I’m working to get out of it as soon as possible - I think he’s come to take me out from this path I set from myself but it’s a struggle right now. I wouldn’t have even come to this decision if it wasn’t for him or even have the strength to know to get out of this situation if it wasn’t for him

I was taught by wonderful Godly mentors that the gift of discernment is important for the Body of Christ and the beginning of receiving it from His Spirit is to discern my OWN spirit then I will "see clearly to remove the POLE from my brother's eye". The flesh has suspicion the gift of discernment is wisdom from above it contains the fruit of the Spirit. We NEED discernment in these times of information overload and deception. It's not fun to be honest with myself but it is an act of humility to do it. As you choose The Wisdom From Above, the Great Shepard's Voice becomes so familiar and His peace accompanies it. The flesh is incapable of peace and will pressure and over charge you to ACT NOW. Our Father, please impart your Grace for us to hunger and thirst for Your beautiful Voice so that we as your children quickly recognize your leading so we don't have to be jerked around with a bridle in our mouths but we watch for the leading of your eyes. Funny Story: I am currently planning to propose to a lady named CASSIE 😅 What I fear is confirmation if she’s really the one! Currently we are long distance and I planned on moving to NYC to be with her. Meanwhile I live inGA. I know no one or any relationship is perfect but I just want to be sure God is with this relationship. I don’t wanna move to NYC just out of “love” when I feel we can have better lives in the south! But regardless; how do I know shes who God wants for me?!
I'm 47 years old and already gave up on praying for a future wife and family. I no longer believe it's possible for his will in my life and a hard pill to swallow. I'm already accepting it and will be disappointed but it is what it is. I have no choice but to live my life for HIM and let it go. All of my friends are getting married so that's just life. God already knows that I can't trust him anymore in my desires.

It’s been on my heart to pursue a degree in Youth Ministry. I work with kids and the love kids give me on a daily basis warms my heart. They randomly give me hugs and always are so happy to see me. I'm able to speak and talk in front of them with ease and I feel at peace around them. I want to continue to lead these kids in the correct direction and I'm going to pray and ask God if this is where he needs me to go and become. I could care less about the degree but I do want to educate and increase my understanding of God’s Word so that I can give my best to the children of the world. When considering your mind you must focus your acknowledgment of negativity through meditative while laboring the negative association to a positive this includes desires by accepting the immediate washing of emotion to your acceptance of life and affirming your positive labors. My biggest problem right now is smoking, I’ve been trying so so hard to quit, but I know in my spirit that I’m not trying hard enough because I know that GODS WILL is for me to stop smoking right now and I’ve prayed for Him to take the addiction away from me and to take the taste out of my mouth, but I truly believe that GOD wants me to quit smoking on my own without any help from Him and then He may Bless me
It's good that you want to stop smoking, but wanting to do it on your own is not His will. He wants you to lean on Him because your weakness is his strength

I use to be a big weed smoker. I went cold turkey. Fell short. Got back up & fell short again until I built strength to say no for longer amounts of time until I was set free completely from being to weak to say no & draw the line. Basically it was a process. But it’s wise to go cold turkey until you get it right. It shows that you made a decision to quit no matter what vs not putting real effort in. You get what I’m sayin? God bless you you got this 💯🙏🏽

Hi thank you for this video. I'm 31 years old. I am looking for my partner for the last five years. Last year I met a girl who showed interest in me. We pray to God about our future. Genuinely we didn't fall for looks, but only character and dedication to God. When we pray God gave the confirmation through the scripture colossians 3:15, saying let the peace of the lord rules your heart for this you called as one body and Psalms 37:4 saying delight in the lord he will fulfill the desire of your heart. When I personally meditated on the scripture I got the story of restoration of Lazarus and the story of restoration of sunamite women's son. We were together in God, hoping that our family should agree with this. The girls family didn't agree. She fought for me but she couldn't convince her family. She lost her hope this process and got engaged to another guy. Now I am all alone confused the confirmation that God has given us. I don't know what should I do now. Can you please help me to understand. I'm troubled and my faith in understanding scripture is in crisis.

I was taught by wonderful Godly mentors that the gift of discernment is important for the Body of Christ and the beginning of receiving it from His Spirit is to discern my OWN spirit then I will "see clearly to remove the POLE from my brother's eye". The flesh has suspicion the gift of discernment is wisdom from above it contains the fruit of the Spirit. We NEED discernment in these times of information overload and deception. It's not fun to be honest with myself but it is an act of humility to do it. As you choose The Wisdom From Above, the Great Shepard's Voice becomes so familiar and His peace accompanies it. The flesh is incapable of peace and will pressure and over charge you to ACT NOW.
Our Father, please impart your Grace for us to hunger and thirst for Your beautiful Voice so that we as your children quickly recognize your leading so we don't have to be jerked around with a bridle in our mouths but we watch for the leading of your eyes. We love you Jesus.

It’s been on my heart to pursue a degree in Youth Ministry. I work with kids and the love kids give me on a daily basis warms my heart. They randomly give me hugs and always are so happy to see me. I'm able to speak and talk in front of them with ease and I feel at peace around them. I want to continue to lead these kids in the correct direction and I'm going to pray and ask God if this is where he needs me to go and become. I could care less about the degree but I do want to educate and increase my understanding of God’s Word so that I can give my best to the children of the world.
