I think the wife was saying after they get the benefits their relationship with the army ends, therefore, they will lose the right to ask the army to look for her husband.
What do you mean you see the difference if am his wife I could sign for compensation imagine seven yrs no phone call, no nothing other soldiers came back they have not heard of him she has children they need school fees and other needs she has no otherwise she have to sign compensation to support children.she have waited enough even if she says she dont want compensation he can't come and the army will not care about his family anymore

What I know is that the US, and other developed nations love love their soldiers too much, and that’s alright with me! This is so so sad for these families. It’s unacceptable and these are the areas Kenyans need to peacefully protest on and bring the country to a stand still. A chain is as strong as its weakest link. Our government has failed us big time! Let’s keep electing “mtu wetu or mwizi wetu.” I feel like we haven’t been brought to our knees yet enough to acknowledge that we deserve better from our government.

The government should withdraw our troops from Somalia already. United States can help Somalia settle the Alshabaab tragedy and restore peace.
