Tornadoes are nothing once youve been through a few of them. My dad used to sit on the porch, drinking beer and watch them. It was one of the few times he would give me a beer as a kid and i'd do it too. As long as you have a basement near by, you're good.

You can't forecast where a tornado is going to hit until it's already forming... All you can say is "there is a 20% chance of a tornado within 50 miles of you" which was the forecast on that day in over 5 states, not just one city. That's insane.

      @@tatumsh9 THANK YOU
The whole time he’s talking I’m thinking this is not how it works. Tornado watch and tornado warnings exist
A pattern can give high probability that a storm will generate in a general area of hundreds of miles
It can not pin point hours in advance that a storm will plop down in a specific location
So there isn’t some call for an evacuation that far in advance.
Everything he was talking about is done in hurricanes
I mean.... the video shows the tornado, does it look like it’s a mile wide?
I like the guy but why not just be factual and correct?
The stories are good enough and don’t need dramatization/embellishment

    • @Tw0Dots

from what i understand, serial killers tend to be psychopaths, of which narcissism is a main trait. i'm not surprised that more of them aren't trying to be seen while being hunted, by authorities, because they usually think they are smarter than anyone else. many of them write letters to the media or police just because it's fun for them. not a new thing ('yours truly, jack the ripper'). i think more of them would be uploading videos and posting their normal lives on instagram, except that these days, it's harder to stay invisible if you behave like a prima donna.

Worst pain I ever experienced was a tailbone break.
Tailbone injuries are a form of spinal injuries, and the spine contains the highest concentration of nerves, so these types of injuries are among the most painful.
I went blind for a few minutes after it initially happened. Turns out, with spinal injuries, there is such thing as being "blinded by pain".
My tailbone is the shape of an L now instead of the normal C shape, and 3 of my Lumbar Vertebrae are visibly prodruding a bit from my back.
I still get occasional lower back or tailbone pain but physical therapy cured 90% of it for me. I had to get fit and build muscle, nothing else helped.
All is good now, but I'm terrified of what my back is gonna be like when I'm middle aged - old.

I’m only 23 now and can’t even bend all the way over anymore because My range of motion is very limited now.

I tried to "parkour" jump onto the middle railing in front of my friends when I was a 15 year old softmore in the highschool basement. I bit off more than I could chew, and my right foot slipped, went right, so I free fell at least 2-3 feet, and 100% of my momentum went straight into my tailbone ( I wasn't yet tall enough for my feet to have touched the ground when falling on that railing).
I went blind for several minutes from the pain and shock. Now 3 of my lumbar vertebrae are permanently visible when you look at my nude backside, and my coccyx bone is an L shape instead of the usual C shape. I've taken away probably 80 or 85% of the pain through physical therapy/general fitness, but the pain will always severely flare up if I get lazy and don't excercise for an extended period of time.
Could be a lot worse though, sorry to hear you're in chronic pain dude. Wish you the best.

@J Paterson how could he have saved his wife? This is a tornado, not a hurricane where you have days in advance to get out of there. With a tornado, you maybe have 15 minutes to get to shelter and you do not know what these things are going to do or how strong they are. Some people dont even get warnings when a tornado is spotted. The meteorologists who were forecasting these things can only advise that tornadoes are possible, not that they are going to happen.

    • @Eponastory
      @Eponastory 4 года назад +6

@J Paterson actually, I dont think it would have made a difference with the tornado being rated an EF4. There hasnt been an EF5 in 7 years, but an EF4 can definitely destroy a house no matter if you are in a windowless room. I've been through my fair share of tornadoes, and I can say that you honestly dont have enough time unless you get the warnings prior, even then, it's not enough time.

@@Eponastory If you’d look at the meteorology reports, a super cell was moving in hours before that would bring severe thunderstorms and favorable conditions for a tornado. That was their watch which could turn into a warning. I agree the guy was selfish and ignorant because I’ve been told all my life that if a tornado looks “stuck” or not moving, then it’s coming straight for you. I’ve lived through EF5’s and I don’t play around with tornadoes. When I hear the sirens or happen to see a funnel cloud outside, I’m already in my shelter.

And it don't matter that they were teenagers they're still women and vulnerable and uncapable of defending themselves against a strong man a serial killer they love secluded areas they know hikers will go up in there it's just the ultimate perfect place to kill someone and get away with it so if you're going to go to a nature hiking area make sure you have a man with you and be armed with a gun both you and the man

They claim everyone's voice is unique and worse still the FBI can get warrants fairly easily. I mean seriously this guy has a mobile phone you could likely catch him in a few days if you really wanted to.
Or you could pull cell phone data it's mind numbing how easily this stuff can be solved anymore. Then you factor in we have literal spy satellites looking at all times meaning you can spot any unusual cars.
We essentially let these people go.

The first story where he said something along the lines of "most of these people have lived here forever and know the storms. They didn't expect much" really reminds me of my family. They were telling everyone for a week to evacuate but my whole family was like "no no! It isn't going to flood, it isn't going to be that bad, I've been here my whole life it isn't going to flood." 6 food of water was in my house. Because I listened to them I basically lost everything because I could only fit so much stuff in my jeep in 4 hours when we had a mandatory evacuation. Now they're telling me that I should just go live back down there even though my house is a literal shack and could basically fall over at any moment. It's been hell and I refuse to listen to them again because they clearly can't see past their own pride.

I have nothing to show for it and it will never feel safe to me...going down there gives me so much anxiety, I'll live in fear constantly. It wasn't just the flood either. We had a tree fall on the house later while we were in it and I thought it was going to be just like the first video. It knocked it completely off it's foundation and could fall at any moment. I've found 4 snakes, 2 of which were copper heads. Not to mention the unbearable amount of field mice that broke into my fridge that I couldn't get rid of or pay someone to take care of because I was trying to repair the house. I had to completely redo my plumbing 6 times and not because we did it wrong. I'd rather find a home that wasn't forced onto me in the first place and where my parents aren't my neighbors. My parents are a huge factor in the fear as well, I couldn't even go outside without thinking I'd run into my dad or have to interact with my dad. I love my parents but at a distance. Plus my dad still thinks he needs to control my entire being and will cause me more stress by getting upset that I don't "listen" to him. If I listened to him I'd probably have killed myself a few years ago.
