Hi mate going to do some conger fishing this year out ov Newhaven do quite a bit ov fishing out of Newhaven on the wreaks for the bass and pollock do most of the wreaks hold eels or are some better than others catch loads winter time when I fish out down the iow around the nab but going to try for some bigger fish on the wreaks this year
Hey Steve how you doing? Every wreck will hold eels but the bigger older wrecks are the ones that will have a good population of the bigger ones. You don’t have to go way offshore either to get them if you don’t want too. When you’re thinking of going drop me a message and il give you a steer to a few mate
@@theamputeeangler thanks mate few weeks mate when we get a small tide been boat fishing for Years since a kid with me dad in small boats so got plenty ov experience but only really starting to fish Newhaven mate got a warrior 165 we go everywhere mate as far down as Salcombe and up as far as grimsby cod fishing in the winter and do Norway every year but its been cancelled for the last 2 years but back out there end ov June still finding me feet at Newhaven at the moment but we will get there thanks mate going to try for some turbot iv got some areas to look at we fish the varne bank from Dover for them but it got raped to death in 2 days by a big trawler and its not recovered enjoying the videos mate keep it up all the best
@@stevesargent6770 turbot fishing is what I enjoy most mate and there’s some cracking fishing to be had out of Newhaven if you know where to go, they’ve not quite kicked off yet here but it’s any day now really and I shall be having a crack on the next good set of tides of weather permits. The same has happened to a few bits of ground here, got netted to death on what used to be banker spots. I have a few vids from last year on them, 15 fish was out best day but hope to beat that this year. Drop me a message when you go eel fishing il send some wrecks.
Haha this time he did yes 😂 no harm done he just wanted to nip round the wreck for scallops he was on watch as were we it’s all good. It’s all Part of being out in big boy land 👌🏻
I don’t trust any trawlers now. Straight on the radio whether they want to answer or not. Thank his it was Ben at anchor and he knew the chap. He might have got a little closer otherwise 😅 I must be s magnet for them 🤣

I was aiming for a wreck last weekend only to get a mile away and it was being circled by a big trawler... out near Pagenturm, so onto the next one...
