Jefferson’s Reserve was one of the first 2 bourbons that got me into bourbon, I kind of have a soft spot for Jefferson’s, even thought I don’t currently have any on my shelf. I think that will change! Good review!! (107-111… you mean Weller Antique and Makers Cask… 🤣😜… is your sweet spot)
My go to liquor store couldn’t sell these for almost a year so they put them in their 50 percent off basket. Needless to say I now own 10 of these bad boys
I'm just always so skeptical when people describe the nose. How do you even learn to get all those different scents that are all coming from a single source?
Saw the 96 proof and said yes, this will be the first Jefferson bottle I buy. I get your notes but it has that funky not like those weird note of salt/ship gas kerosene smoke note. Hard to explain… but delicious… must buy…. Also it went to South Korea 👍

Have you had the Nulu toasted rye? I haven’t but lots of good reviews for that one and I feel this one seems similar.
Haven’t had this yet.. but regular oceans is solid to me… if you can find in 65 range… Sams has it in 60s
I just it at my local liquor store last night..should have bought it.

I get it, I used to be the same way.
Jefferson's...quite good quite expensive
Going back to the liquor store today. Thanks for review.
Hope you enjoy it! Cheers Debby!
Just got this at my local Meijer for $46. Big score. I agree I’m not a huge fan of the ocean stuff but I got a steal!
It went on clearance at Meijer last week. I got one too for that half off price. Seemed like a good pick up
I've never had anything in the Jefferson's line. What if anything other than the Ocean Rye 26 is worth trying?
Good question. I don’t temper which voyages I had but none were worth the price
I like the Jefferson's that are finished. I have never purchased an Ocean version as it seems a bit expensive for a boat ride booze.
Agreed but I recommend if you can find this one at $64. It’s a great rye at that price. Too bad it’s $80-90 in most stores. Cheers!

Glad you’re enjoying it!
If you can find 23 buy it, picked the last bottle today for $86.
Definitely solid but it’s in the 80s around nj. Pass for me.
Respect ✊
Seems like you underscored nose.. on and on praise but only a .7…
Nope, a .7 is right 😉
Marketing is better than the whiskey
That’s fair! The marketing is great. I’ve never been a fan of the bourbon but this rye is pretty good!
@@WhiskeyTornado agreed, You gave an honest review. They lured me in with the storyline, but lost me after a few sips. I Enjoy your reviews!
@@mikemiller3074 cheers!
