Also, thank you for pointing to all of the details, I definitely would have missed it without the pointing, very important.
I took a pointing night course back in '94
Great way to start the evening with a spot of Dan
I enjoy the comedy bits as much as the build :D
I want to build a life-sized one of these, in a moss covered forest, and birdwatch from the balconies.
So do I, now!
Gonna need to design rules for a solo tabletop Birdwatching Simulator.
Awesome! It looks like a cross between Red Dwarf and Starbug. Love it! ❤️
Yeah, green was a close second, colour-wise
These videos are both humorous and relaxing!
Glad you like them!
Fantastic bit of terrain
Thank you
Absolutely beautiful piece!
Thank you very much!
Welcome back! I always steal my chipboard from the back of my old sketchbooks, I don't think I've ever actually BOUGHT chipboard despite all my crafting bits.
I actually bought a wad once, wasn't cheap
Junk bot with flowers and moss to patrol the raspberry base. ^_^ Very nicely done!
Thanks! 😊
Thank you for referencing the best sci fi show ever made.
My pleasure.
This was soooo good! I love that the thumbnail didn't show the full glory of the completed project. Maybe my favourite make so far on the channel!
Lovely to hear, thank you! 😊
Love the unintentional Red Dwarf homage! Would be great for Stargrave
The music shift at the end was a nice touch. Cool looking build as well!
Glad you enjoyed it
the music at the ends really sells it
I'm glad I'm not the only person who's absolutely terrified of their Dremel. But the Dremel pales in comparison to the panic inducing properties of using a Jigsaw. Christ almighty, I feel like I'm in danger of losing an arm any time I fire that angry sounding beast up.
Excellent work as always Mr. Dan!
Thank you. I remember tech at school. Deathtrap
You know your in for a treat when Dan does another vid….(see what I did there…Dan Does….Dan…..Dan Does……does Dan? Have to watch to find out I guess….). Loved the intro and the raspberry was a great finish. Was the 53 day wait worth it? Definitely! Looking forward to the next one 😉
You won't have to wait quite so long. Thank you!
I don't know what that introduction was but it compelled me to subscribe
I don't know either to be honest. Thank you!
Keep up the lovely hobbying! Hope you get more attention @@Dan_Does
Absolutely lovely piece of terrain. Looks like a small round man in overalls with huge goggles and a big wiry moustache lives there with a friendly robot, snooty hologram and sarcastic talking cat.
Ha
Brother I don't know if any one understands how much work you put into these. Thank you for your time and for all you do . Much love
I really appreciate this, I work so hard and for so long. I'm happy that you've noticed.
@@Dan_Does brother the amount of work that goes into each video. Is something to me you would see on a professional level. But it would be done by a team of people. So doing this solo ...the dialogue, the sound effects, the well thought out lay out of video design. Your entire process is art. Thank you for the endless joy you've brought this world. We need it. You are doing blessed work. Thank you
@@daydreamingkumo thank you for watching!
Awesome build, Dan. So many interesting techniques and details. I can definitely see the Ghibli.
Thanks, buddy!
Absolutely brilliant video, good to have you back with us Dan. Was that a wild Bill I saw lost in the maze...🤔😂
Maybe 😉
Are they brothers or something they look exactly alike
@@tannersands6959 you could be on to something there!
Fantastic video and build, as always! You sang Somewhere That's Green; it's from Little Shop of Horrors, one of my all time favourite films
One of mine too
This turned out so dang cool! It was nice to sit, in a slightly slouched position, watching you make this.
Ha thank you
The series of looks after the question..."Did we?"....FUCKING PERFECT, ....Dan Does ROCKS!!!!
Stop it! ☺️
Wow, this video is both humourous and relaxing. Good stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dan does Dan. 😂 Great build as always.
Thank you 😁
Those flowers, absolutely the Ghibli chef's kiss.
Before the flowers it looked more like the landscapers hadn't bagged their grass trimmings after weedwhacking.
Nicely done, Dan. (Though I'm still not convinced that you aren't Bill, despite that clever maze cameo.) 🧐
Not gonna lie, I do find your videos (the art, crafting, style, the idea, production, etc.) really good. Well, great, you know what, no. I find it excellent. I’ve even used them to relax and chill. They have even helped me sleep at night. Like, knowing that I am seeing an awesome video, I don’t know, it just helps me. So thanks for your work. Really. As someone that struggles with anxiety, depression but loves their adhd, I really am thankful. Big Caribbean hug, all the way from Puerto Rico.
This is a lovely hug-of-a-comment! Thanks so much!
@@Dan_Does
Great stuff Dan! A good stylistic twist on how fun and easy making some terrain can be, the satellite dish was particularly... dishy. Also I greatly appreciated the Red Dwarf reference
Appreciate it
GOSH was that Dan Doesn't from all those videos ago? Debbie Does Dallas walked so Dan Does Dan Doesn't could run!
That highlight/lowlight on the chips really did make a world of difference, wow! It does look very Ghibli. I love the idea of a knobbly igloo. Like an igloo that's horribly diseased. Lovely :) (Also congratulations on the death of your smoke alarm!) BOYS FROM THE DWAAAAARF!!!!
The flowers make it and give it a proper Laputa feeling. Beautiful work.
What I was hoping for. Thank you!
That is a fantastic building, I need to get a couple of those candy jugs!
Make sure you buy something 😉
You and Bill really should look into a bunk bed.
Tried it. Didn't like it.
Bloody thoroughfare! - perfect for a sticker or t shirt 😂
Ha
So glad to see you back in the mix.. happy to hear that damn beeping has finally faded... keep up the great work
Thanks, James
Glad to see a new build from you my friend. Hope you are doing well
Thank you
Now,You have to present the guardian of that Galactik-Call-Center ! Maybe there’s also a kind of mostranimalpet!?🎉🎉🎉🐸🇫🇷
Love the overgrown foresty aesthetic! Very serene. Fantastic stuff
Many thanks!
That looks great !!! Very cool
Thanks!
Relaxing and humourous indeed. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Another fabulous piece of content. Always a treat, and always worth the wait
Much appreciated!
The almost idyllic environs, with grasses and flowers, is so pleasant. It contrasts nicely with the horrible violence that will occur around it.
I want to make more in this style
@@Dan_Does I would definitely watch more videos in that "overgrown, idyllic industrial style". Like a base or factory built in a wilderness that is slowly reclaiming it.
Howl's Moving Tumour. Awesome build!
Thanks!
That intro gave me a great giggle :D Absolutely lovely results with the terrain!
Glad you enjoyed it
That's a good bit of improvisation right there. I. Like. It. A. Lot.
Thank you!
A Red Dwarf and a Little Shop of Horrors reference in the same video? You're spoiling us Mr Ambassador!
I gots taste
I always find these videos both humorous and relaxing.
I'm glad!
Looks amazing! 🎉
Thank you!!
Another great building Dan.
I'd love to see some more terrain
Thanks! Will do!
I agree. Using found objects. Outside is not as scarrrrrry as our minds. Nature is an insperation. ( my spell check is broken). Sorry I'm a dummy.
This is absolutely amazing work, I feel like I learned so much in 30 minutes.
Great to hear!
Loving this creativity! 🤓
Thank you!
Looks fantastic. And thanks for the laughs.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love it! The Raspberry is exactly what id nickname a building that looked like this. We have a building in town thats nicknamed ‘The milk carton’ for obvious reasons 😝
It's full of milk?
@@Dan_Does 😂 probably be more useful if it was full of milk 😂
I always thought the very first scratch builder was the person who made Blue Peter, I mean they built a complete studio out of cereal boxes, washing up bottles and tin foil, ha ha ha.
You may be right
Finally someone in the miniature-terrain-crafting-scene who cares for the workplace safety of their terrain pieces
Absolutely
Gotta keep it clean, save the particles for other filler.
It saves from cleaning out the vacume cleaner and find tiny hairy d ussty parcels. Just keep your bits box clean for the other builds.@@Dan_Does
This has a "Young girl summers w/eccentric aunt to help keep soot sprites out of the equipment and ends up on a journey of discovery" vibe.
Perfect
The finished build looks really good
Thank you
Great build, looks awesome. Also not a bad welsh accent😂
Thanks 😅
This came out brilliantly! Love the little touches like the tufts making their way up and over the building, and that satellite dish is stellar
Thanks a bunch!
I will say one thing, it has definitely been worth the wait! That is a fantastic bit of scenery!!!
Very nice of you!
Skillz init! As the younger generation would say, if it were the 90's 🤣
Nice red shape! ✨
I'm sure you have heard this plenty of times but....... You look more like bill making stuff than bill making stuff looks like bill making stuff. And that's not a bad thing. You also make awesome stuff! New sub earned
Thank you.
YES! Dan the MAN!!!!!!!
Was fretting about how I, an American, would get this type of canister when I remembered. I don’t do this stuff. I make jewelry. I was just so invested 😅
Haha lovely
awesome build as always. i really like the satellite dish and all the terrain details
Thanks a bunch!
Well worth the wait, a lovely build. Excellent foliarge.
Thank you kindly!
We've been waiting and anticipating. You never disappoint. Another great vid and creation. ;}
Thanks so much!
I got a reply! YAY! Super groovy. @@Dan_Does
I am humored and relaxed.
Perfect
Great to see you back
Amazing build as always and I really am seeing the Ghibli vibes
Glad you like it!
Oh boy, i just discovered Bills Channel and you have to be his twin brother, making awesome stuff too. WTF. Love the build!
Thank you.
A moment's silence and reflection for the walled-in smoke detector...
This is so much better than watching that Bill guy.
Humorous AND relaxing!
Thanks, Nook!
I love this build! Great job Dan!
Thank you 🙂
Well worth the wait. An absolutely smashing build! Your animations are evolving as well. Made my day
Glad to hear it!
Yay! Dan is back!
Inspirational! Best humor!!😂
Thank you
Adding the flowers and music gave this whole piece a kind of happy emptiness and abandonment.
That intro made my skin crawl. 🫣
This is incredible, it really is. Great to have you back as well. I wish I had your imagination and discipline. Was the base curling up there when you were pouring the flock on? How did you flatten it if so?
This is going to be one of those dumb questions that well-meaning relatives ask who have no idea but are impressed, but: have you ever worked in film/TV model/prop creation or thought of seriously doing it?
I've never had a creative job, not really. The base was mdf wood. The kind you get on the back of a shelf or drawer
@@Dan_Does I mean, you deserve to have one, if not doing this then you'd be an amazing asset to a film/TV production studio. That whole gantry system you made looks so professional.
@@oldex6564 very kind
Humorous and relaxing
For sure it was hilarious! And... spoiler! Awesome looking in the end!
Thanks! 😁
This was brilliant. Truly
Aw, thank you! 😊
Very Red Dwarfian, and cool.
Jiburi. Noted
That intro was brilliant. I mean you could have woken up next to Rod Fruit, which lets face it we've all done at least once. Great content Dan, new sub 👍.
Haha he's a dawg!
Lmao i love youre dry british humor so much. it honestly makes my day Dan
That makes me happy
This was a really nice build- lots of inspiration.
Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
This one was a nice change! I do miss the soothing beep of your slowly dying smoke detector though. Alas.
Could always dub it in?
Your style of video has really settled in to a nice combination of crafting (which has great results) and the comedy of your earlier, non-crafting, videos.
Also I don't want to sound like Dave the Sound Guy from Orgazmo (not sure if you're familiar with the Trey Parker and Matt Stone "classic"?) but you're looking in great shape in the sweetshop vignette. Being a man of advancing years I know how difficult it can be to stay in shape, so bravo 👏
Have I made this comment weird? I feel like I've made it weird. Probably even weirder for pointing out the weirdness.
I know Orgazmo! Thanks a lot. I'm not in shape at all really, just plan my angles and lighting well
@Dan_Does here was me thinking the death of the smoke alarm had given you some tremendous energy boost.
It's nowt but camera sorcery 😂
Lovely video, if you get a lot of these jars coming through it would be cool to see an entire base using raspberry elements. I bet you could do a good landing pad or missile silo with this as a base
Great idea. We have plenty of them
When i heard the Red Dwarf theme i squeed like a little child.
Thank you Dan Does for another great video!
Thank you
Worth. The. Wait.
Also I thought the Wombles were the first scratch builders. 😂
Love it Dan
Fantastic!
Fantastic! I was so excited to see that you had a new video. Totally worth the wait. Bonkers as ever. I’m a horror guy, but I’m still intrigued to see what else you’re capable of. I don’t play any tabletop games (used to play Heroscape, kinda Warhamner 40k lite) but I love terrain builds. Something about that scale. Oh, and love the insane comedy.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This video is humorous and relaxing... there...
Thanks
my fav build so far!
Glad you like it
LOVE it!!!!
LICOMSCRIBED!
Yay! Thank you!
