The eldar are really cool, I remember seing an eldar army in a hobby store as a kid and I was blown away by them, ever since I've wanted an eldar army...I have waaay to many space marines to get through though, so I'll settle for watching you collect them...until I get jealous and buy my own lol.
Also-that eldar armor came out way better than I thought it would have
I like the Tau. They have clean, modern vehicles and suits. It was a big change from fabric, skin, hair, and other textures to have so many flat panels. I had to learn about panel line paint.

I just paint up a lot of small units to use in kill team.
My games club has a pretty good bar, which is a surprisingly helpful thing for the average wargamer.
As far as 40k goes, Orks and Necrons get my vote. Krumpin' an scrappin' is cool in my book. And Trazyn the Infinite has to be the best practical joker to ever live.

I am more skirmish games rather than army ones but this all sounds like great advice I wil lfollow if I ever decide to build a large force. TBH I enjoy the speed, versatility and diversity of painting a lot of different factions, this way I always have something I want to paint. Keep up the great content!
Great vid! If there’s a Warhammer store near you another option is to pick up the free mini of the month to experiment on. Even if it’s not from an army you’re interested in collecting, it’s a great canvas to try a paint scheme.
When i done my jems i layered a coat of gloss varnish on them..wowzer.
That is why I paint a tank, a character and a troop unit at once - to keep a variety.
The question is more like: what to print next
basically its all about SPEED (how fast your army can move) FIREPOWER (how much damage your army can cause to others) and PROTECTION (how much damage your army can sustain if hit), the choice is pretty much chosing which army has the best of these 3 attributes right?
I don't think I can commit to an army. I got kill team tho. I still want one but ADHD says no 😢

For my first ever army, I choosen Grey Knights :D
Aeldari have always looked a cool army, never got round to them as dark angels & custodes are my 2 main choices.
I also don't have a clue on how points I have!
