Ive been dating a Dominican for almost a year now and his mom speaks no English along with most of his family. We come to visit them in Florida every couple months and I hate that I don’t understand them. Fortunately his sister and brother in law speak English but I can’t wait to get to the point you are to be able to understand and communicate with everyone. Also fortunate that they are very welcoming and love me (I think lol) even though I can’t speak a lot of Spanish yet.
I can relate to you guys extremely😆 My husband is German and I am Honduran. We live in germany and been married for a year and a half. We met on a singing app😊 totally crazy for us cause we never thought we would meet the love of our lives on the internet. Just as you guys, we can only speak English with each other. Even though I learned German and he is learning Spanish... We feel like robots when we speak in our other languages to each other. We say English is our Emotional Language 😂 cause that's how we met. Anyways his family has embraced me completely as well and I feel so loved here. Just as my Honduran family embraces my husband. I really enjoy watching your videos and laugh at those particular similarities in our experiences. Cause there are things that no one can understand more than a German man and his Latina woman😊❤️

okay so, i started crying (in a good way) about the fact that his parents are really nice to Joss, i like these guys a lot, and i've never understood the ending word that Joss says (until now cuz i put the subtitles on to understand Janik's parents), but i think it's a goodbye in german, cuz Janik says goodbye in spanish, and when i finally figured it out, i was like "OH, MY GOD, THAT'S SO SWEET", lmao

Germans are very often a bit distant to start with, especially those from Northern Germany, but in general they turn out to be muy bondadoso (a word I learn't here).

I'm Puerto Rican and he's from the states and we met online xD His family is great and they have completely accepted me since the very beginning so I'm very thankful for that. okay so, i started crying (in a good way) about the fact that his parents are really nice to Joss, i like these guys a lot, and i've never understood the ending word that Joss says (until now cuz i put the subtitles on to understand Janik's parents), but i think it's a goodbye in german, cuz Janik says goodbye in spanish, and when i finally figured it out, i was like "OH, MY GOD, THAT'S SO SWEET", lmao

So lovely!! I'm going to visit my BF for the holidays (I'm leaving in 5 days so I can't wait) and I'll spend with him Christmas, New Year's and his Bday. I'm Puerto Rican and he's from the states and we met online xD His family is great and they have completely accepted me since the very beginning so I'm very thankful for that. Both his mom and grandparents have pictures of us in their living rooms. It makes me feel very special! 🥰
