Thanks for 6600 Views on Ran Part 1

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to make something fun to commemorate Ran part 1 reaching 6600 views!
Thank you guys for all the support and love you’ve all given my characters! XD
So here’s an update on Ran part 2 along with an honest message for everyone:
The script for Ran part 2 has been finished for a while and I’ve been progressing bit by bit on the rough pass but I have to get some things off my chest.
I sincerely apologize for taking so long with Ran part 2.
While doing my best to make art, I’ve been going through tons of personal stuff that has made me discouraged with where I am in life right now.
For a while I’ve been feeling embarrassed about how long I’m taking to show what I can do and be something.
Not being part of the industry, getting rejected constantly, and always feeling the pressure from family to prove myself, has really affected my mental health.
Making new boards has never felt so hard and I’ve burned myself out desperately trying. Until I realized, my mind just wasn’t in the right place for making storyboards and the ideas for sequences I usually had weren’t coming out at all. I felt terrible…
So I decided to take a breathe, take a step back from boards, and simply enjoy drawing what I wanted until I was ready to board again.
Back when I made Ran part 1, I remembered how much healthier I was and how efficient I made my schedule. Right now I’m doing my best to pace myself and take things one step at a time to get back on track, back to that perfect mindset! Remembering to calm down and breath.
Now…I’m enjoying making boards again! ^^
Now I’m feeling better about myself and I remind myself that everyone goes at their own pace.
I know that my time to shine will come as long as I keep working hard and not lose heart.
Thank you guys so much for being so patient with me, liking my art, and supporting what I do.
You don’t know how much it helps to see you guys enjoying my work!
