UdiRC Panther Drift Car. Unboxing and review of cheap and cheerful bargain racer.

I thought I'd try something different and, after bumping into John, who runs Slideways Drift club and RC shop, I thought I'd give drifting a little go if I could do it on a budget.
Having a look around, the Udi RC 1:18 cars are easily available and pretty cheap. They're also what John is using as his rentals for the drift track, so it seemed like the perfect choice.
The only thing you need to run one if these is the AA batteries for the transmitter; everything else is included. It's a very easy entry into RC and you don't even need a hard floor to drift on. The drift wheels will work on carpet or you can leave on the rubber tyres and head out for a bit of rallying. I've even used mine on the lawn and it doesn't have a problem as long as the grass isn't long.
I can't recommend this car highly enough. It's great fun and great value, so go out and get one!
